While Luffy’s gear 5 having a red form is something I’ve heard before, the idea that it would be a weaker version of G5 is new. Spoilers for current manga: Considering his current progression with gear 4 and using it partially to avoid the extended drawback, kinda like how he switched to using G2 in short bursts, this actually makes a lot of sense for his general progression. He would still need to learn how to maximize his time in the full power form though. I’m curious as to how exactly you think it’d work. You say he’d be weaker, but how exactly?
