Glad you're back dude! Sorry if this might be backseating but whenever you fight Jin ... always and I mean ALWAYS look out for Stunned Swallow. That bullshit is an instant launch an d given how instant the animation is, you'll be caught off guard for it more often than not. There's another one of his moves to look out for but I'll keep my mouth shut if you don't want me to spoil it.
Thanks! And there's nothing wrong with some advice here and there and I'm trying to stay as spoiler free as possible so thanks for not auto spoiling stuff 👍
"Watching out" for Stunned Swallow isn't really a good advice if you don't know how to deal with it. You have to refrain from attacking. Do any attack during the animation and you get launched.
So, this Chapter is the one I would say is about memories. Not just of the Blades, but of the Humans as well. For Humans, it comes from Rex's family being remembered by his Aunt and himself, albeit their presence only being within a short timeframe. Their actions carried on through Rex and his Aunt, their memories being cherished long past their deaths. This is an example of Humans carrying on their culture and will. This is what Jin is referring to, and when you consider everything about what we've learned about Blades, his reasoning and actions are more understandable. The Blades, of course, are given ample focus as well. Jin's whole monologue about Blades being slaves, Brighid's diary and talks with Pyra, Haze/Fan's memories concealing something greater. Yes they can't technically "die," but they certainly are often forgotten in a lot of situations, which can be worse than death in some cases. They can't control their destinies or culture, somewhat due to their natural existence, but more so due to Indol harboring large amounts of the core crystals, which will be greater focused on in the upcoming Chapters. There is beauty within the Blades and Humans however, which you will learn later. All of that aside, this is also where I say the villains of the game get GOOD.
Jin didn’t just stab Fan in the chest… he stabbed us all in the heart. T-T But moving on, these are always a great thing to see in the day. Leveling your blades affinity stuff is what carries so make sure to keep an eye on that, especially for the main blades you can’t just send of on merc missions to fill in the nodes. Sassy cat Nia is top tier and Mythra is a Tsundere. In other news, water is wet. If you think Morag’s voice acting is top tier from that then buckle in. She gets better. Looking forward to the next one.
Glad to have you back! And man. This is the chapter that SOLD me on Xenoblade 2 when I first played it. I was already loving it in the early chapters but you're approaching some of my favorite parts in the story. And yes, a lot of it is because of Zeke. The king of himbos himself cemented himself as a favorite of mine with the depth to his character we start to see. His philosophical musings, the way he can get serious when he needs to, and isn't afraid to call someone out or disagree with them. The characters in this game are why I love it and the story only gets better and better as it goes on. I'm excited to see your thoughts on the latter. Also Morag's "Shit. Who gave that damn order?!" was one of my favorite moments with her. Idk if it's cause we always see her calm and composed, but the moments she's not? You know shit's getting real
And we're 'ere. Another upload, another smile on my face! Love the video as always! Today's tip for making the game not take 3 hours in combat, you dismissed pouch items as just temporary effects but they're really useful! There's a desert shop in Argentum that sells Narcipear Jelly, when in doubt it's one of the best items in the game. If it's too expensive for you, then any item that increases art recharge is what you want to aim for. There's a bakery in Torigoth that sells a much more affordable variant. Once you have them, spam them on all your active characters and watch how much more quickly your arts are available. Otherwise, good to see you uploading again. Here's to yet more xenoblade!
oh yeah and if you buy all the items in shops then you can by deads which give you permenant bonus like move speed, extra exp in battles and so on, also nice job with jin and the mech, those fight were the ones i said a while ago that were gonna be "good luck with them", if you also want a decent way to use zeke give rex 2 healing blades and zeke 3 attack or 2 attack and 1 haling so rex can just using healing arts and topple and zeke can use launch, i dont remember which blade can do it but you can also use smash which will do a shit ton of damage and will make the enemy drop items from their loot table as well
@Venkintus you don’t really need more than one healer blade per party since most of them really are just healbots without any supportive capabilities. Also to gain ahold of deeds you need to buy a certain amount of different items from each job, most of which require the red merc missions to be unlocked, and if you really plan to use the driver combo I recommend swordaxes on Zeke since he deals a ton of damage with those and gains an okay topple art and running either megalances or katanas on Morag, since megalances have the best smash art in the game on Morag. Rex has a really good break with megalances as well. There is also a difference in the ai of drivers in that female ones focus on blade combos while male ones focus on driver combos.
The return of greatness! Btw the reason you kept losing to the cable was that after it's health drops below 50% it has spike damage which basically means every time you hit it you get damaged. It's strange how the game doesn't explain this to you at all so most people miss it. You just gotta pay attention as to why you are dying lol
That Zeke fight took me for*ever* to beat, I was stuck on him for days on end. I had relied excessively on Mórag and not having her in that fight really crippled me. Another thing about Zeke is that his comical bad luck also shows up in gameplay, getting hit by driver combo effects easier than other and pulling rare blades less often
Fun fact about Zeke: He’s very heavily based on Bart from Xenogears. He’s even got an alternate recolor that makes him look like Bart! It kind of just took until now for the similarities in their personalities to really set in. Takahashi has taken elements from that one game and spread them all out across his others. For good reason too, it’s fantastic!
@@DeiZeiga Oh don’t worry, I was totally the same way. I didn’t play Gears until earlier this year, but it kind of has the opposite effect where you realize what it is that inspired something. I’m going through Saga right now and it’s also great!

Zeke is probably my favorite character to play in the cast. He's a crit god and large damage dealer, so you usually want him on if you plan for an offensive team build. I'd recommend having him paired with Rex and Tora, or Rex and Nia if you rely alot on healing (Rex and Tora works if Rex has a healing blade of his own.) If you want a pure attack build though, Rex and Tora/Morag. I used Rex and Morag with Zeke the most after I obtained him. As for Zekes weapons, he's quite versatile in his selection. His best are ether cannons and great axes. I also like him with spears, but he isn't that good with that weapon. Finally, the rarest blade to pull in the game is really good on Zeke, so I recommend pulling a ton of blades on him, though, his luck stat sucks, so it's much harder for him to pull rare blades. Hope this helps!

18:50 That...becomes important later. Edit: Sorry, had to change my comment, since it wasn't entirely accurate. Anyway, I advise you to explore the lower levels of Tantal this chapter (as well as do any sidequests there that you want to). Next chapter, the enemies will be *much* more difficult. Minor context spoiler for XBC3: Shame on whoever told you the Gigachad thing. That's one of the big WTF moments in the 3rd game.

@@DeiZeiga Yup, that's the 3 experience, a really solid and well made standalone game if it's your first Xenoblade game, and all of that plus popping off at callbacks if you played 1 and 2.

Wow, first time I ever saw someone else think of that strat to deal with the spike damage. Sure, it takes a while to cut the lines with one person, but it works.
@@DeiZeiga The mechanic has actually been used for a few fights prior to this one, but both fortunately and unfortunately, this boss was the worst of it.
So since zeke is a bit of an odd one to put in your party since he covers the same role rex does. But i came up with some possible ways to use him in the party without upsetting the party balance too much. I mean the easiest way to run him is to not have rex but thats no fun. You could take nia out and give rex one good healing blade.(without spoiling too much rex does get an alright healing blade through the story later.) Or just say “tanks who needs em?” And swap out a tank for zeke (dont recommend that option) Having said that amazing video like usual I really like your editing style

@@DeiZeiga yeah spike damage is much worse in xc2 thankfully only like 4 enemies have spike damage, on bringer of chaos difficulty (the dlc difficulty) the thing basically insta wipes you if you do a single special move lol you have to keep switching back to fighting the turret every 30 seconds to heal back up lol, glad you realized to just make your party attack the turret the whole time though, also there's a chest at the beginning of temperantia you should get if you didn't, it's the first OP accessory of it's kind available for a while
So a neat detail about why Morag didn't want to join fighting Zeke Morag and Zeke are the second most important people of their respective Nations, they also represent their Nations which means if they fight that would translate that Mor Ardain and Tantal are effectively declaring war to each other. So Morag as any person with common sense and political knowledge decides to not cause an intercontinental crisis.
@@DeiZeiga you know politics are an insufferable bs. Anything can be used as an excuse. You just saw how The Urayan queen used the situation of Indol's intervention to Uraya's favor. another detail is when Rex and co. get their asses whooped by Zeke's surprise attack, you can see Morag turning her head and closing her eyes you can't see it unless you have Morag wearing a costume, but she smiles as in "that's what you get for underestimating him" or as i prefer " ya'll definitely fucked around and deserved finding out"
This was very funny lol also, when Jin targeted Fan’s core crystal he broke it, this means that she could no longer return to her core that is basically death for blades. The battles get annoying from time to time but good job getting past these 👍. Also yes Jin is *sigh* annoying but you will know more late. There is was more stuff going on. Also thank you for posting this I hope your mother is doing well . See you soon

@DeiZeiga Nah dude you're doing fine right now, that boss is really tricky so no worries. Basically what was happening was the cables have a "spike" effect on them. So the damage you do is reflected back onto you after a certain point. Theres two ways to avoid that, put the orb on that seals spike damage, or just chain attack with a few orbs on before the spike damage starts messing you up. Most people struggle with that bit though.

@DeiZeiga I actually looked it up, its actually only 10, I must've either been confusing it with something else or just straight up misremembered
Much more reasonable thank you 😅
Oooooo, yay, new vid~ 🎉🎉🎉

love your vids man!!! nice to see you back :D
Thanks dude😊
Sometimes when I think about when I played XC2, I just remember being mad a lot, but not specifically why.
Then I saw the power cables.
One of the most bullshit fights so far

Thanks! I’ll try!
I'm really enjoying the way you edit your videos.
Thanks a lot for making them.
Thank You for enjoying them ❤️
This will always stay my favorite game. The moment I saw the trailer I immediately fell in love. Also rest in peace Vahndam and haze. I actually never disengage roc from my party since I honor him😅
On my first playthrough everything flew over my head but now after multiple playthroughs and your first time reactions its so clear regarding most details
This has been my favorite channel to revist Xenoblade Chronicles 2 my favorite Switch game!
P.S. on my first playthrough I was more like Tora lol
Thanks man! ❤️
That’s the best thing about multiple playthroughs you see the clues the game set up for you
I’m still heartbroken over how similar I am to Tora😂
18:50 That...becomes important later.
Edit: Sorry, had to change my comment, since it wasn't entirely accurate.
Anyway, I advise you to explore the lower levels of Tantal this chapter (as well as do any sidequests there that you want to). Next chapter, the enemies will be *much* more difficult.
Minor context spoiler for XBC3:
Shame on whoever told you the Gigachad thing. That's one of the big WTF moments in the 3rd game.
A Hugo truely a caring emperor
Your edits are great. Nice vid.
Welcome back. Hope things are going well.
They are thank you! And I'm happy to be back!
Friendly reminder that in chapter 3 the game refers to Zeke as "the most evil driver in Alrest"
That’s awesome, just another reason to love this game
12:00 not at all When a Blade is awaken they ALWAYS know their original name, as well as the necessary knowledge about how the world works

Patroka, Akhos, Mikhail: Sucks doesn’t it
Rex: Considering he did that to me, yes it does.
35:03 still trips me out this is Azami.. and Nicole Waterson
Holy shit I hear Nicole in her voice now that’s amazing 😂

Thanks I’m glad to be back! It’s been TOO long!

Been waiting for this!!!

Good to see you back old friend!
❤️Good to be back!
0:10 That's not the last you'll have seen of it, or Eyth Sea from 1 for that matter, you see where i'm going with this?
Ironically when they do come back they're not annoying to traverse anymore, who'd have thunk?
👀I’m calling it now…
I’m gonna be screaming and fangirling in 3 aren’t I?
@@DeiZeiga Yup, that's the 3 experience, a really solid and well made standalone game if it's your first Xenoblade game, and all of that plus popping off at callbacks if you played 1 and 2.
I actually love using Nim on Rex, super good blade and probably one of my favorites
She might have to stay on Morag I’m too scared to use overdrive since it ain’t free😅
Rex not only becomes Gigachad but he becomes a Gigachadsaurus 😂😂😂😂.
I forgot to mention that.
Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who had the brain fart moment and not listening to her say cut the Power Cables 😂😂😂😂.
Oh and if you hate Jin you'll hate the DLC for the entire playthrough 😅.
This is the first ive watched form you all i got to say is that i hope you have fun playing this game cause i know i did 😊
Honestly my favorite game I’ve played on the channel so far
@@DeiZeiga I am glad to hear that
Wow, first time I ever saw someone else think of that strat to deal with the spike damage. Sure, it takes a while to cut the lines with one person, but it works.
You have no idea how many fails it took for me to eventually do that😅
@@DeiZeiga I've purged my memory of how long it might've taken me to think of this solution. I was too lazy to get anti-spike damage accessories.
I want to purge my memory of spike damage as a whole fuk that mechanic lol
…no seriously i want it to NEVER come back
@@DeiZeiga The mechanic has actually been used for a few fights prior to this one, but both fortunately and unfortunately, this boss was the worst of it.
Zeke is HIM fr 🙏
Best boy in the party
So since zeke is a bit of an odd one to put in your party since he covers the same role rex does. But i came up with some possible ways to use him in the party without upsetting the party balance too much.
I mean the easiest way to run him is to not have rex but thats no fun.
You could take nia out and give rex one good healing blade.(without spoiling too much rex does get an alright healing blade through the story later.)
Or just say “tanks who needs em?” And swap out a tank for zeke (dont recommend that option)
Having said that amazing video like usual I really like your editing style
Now…
I HAVE to try out the No tank comp now lol and thank you I’m glad you enjoy the video style
@@DeiZeiga Lmao go for it its a good difficulty spike i do recommend giving rex an extra healing blade then.
Super happy to see another video Ive only found u not too long ago but really love ur xenoblade 2 episodes keep up the great work, I would give advice on the game but I assume u already getting enough of that from other comments and i would prob just go on and on so cant wait for the next part.
Thanks bruh belated welcome to the channel! 😂It’s ok I know you guys just wanna help so I don’t mind it I still figure things out on my own so I don’t mind the advice❤️ and I can’t wait to bring more to you!
As you can probably seen the titan weapon holds back a LOT of players lol, GG on everything you did though, and thank you for the wonderful video ❤
The spike damage gave me flashbacks from 1 something fierce THAT was the worst part of that whole fight
@@DeiZeiga yeah spike damage is much worse in xc2 thankfully only like 4 enemies have spike damage, on bringer of chaos difficulty (the dlc difficulty) the thing basically insta wipes you if you do a single special move lol you have to keep switching back to fighting the turret every 30 seconds to heal back up lol, glad you realized to just make your party attack the turret the whole time though, also there's a chest at the beginning of temperantia you should get if you didn't, it's the first OP accessory of it's kind available for a while
Great episode! Can’t wait for the next one
So a neat detail about why Morag didn't want to join fighting Zeke
Morag and Zeke are the second most important people of their respective Nations, they also represent their Nations which means if they fight that would translate that Mor Ardain and Tantal are effectively declaring war to each other. So Morag as any person with common sense and political knowledge decides to not cause an intercontinental crisis.
Dam I get it but not even a sparring session? I want to know who'd win! 😂
@@DeiZeiga you know politics are an insufferable bs. Anything can be used as an excuse. You just saw how The Urayan queen used the situation of Indol's intervention to Uraya's favor.
another detail is when Rex and co. get their asses whooped by Zeke's surprise attack, you can see Morag turning her head and closing her eyes you can't see it unless you have Morag wearing a costume, but she smiles as in "that's what you get for underestimating him" or as i prefer " ya'll definitely fucked around and deserved finding out"
@@srlopez875 Fr, and dam never took Morag for a troll she could've at least dropped a hint before Rex and everyone got blitzed lol
I don’t know who you are but I’ll have to watch your let’s play of my favorite game now
I’ll do my best not to disappoint 👌
@@DeiZeiga you already disappointed by not liking Jin but I’ll forgive it for now
Gonna be a hard sell for me to like Jin so be ready to hold on to that disappointment
@@DeiZeiga I don’t remember if it’s chapter 6 or 7 where you’ll change your mind but we’ll just have to wait I guess
I love this series
Thanks bro ❤️
No Haze, you were so beautiful to died so young RIP
Fax I’m still upset about it
This was very funny lol also, when Jin targeted Fan’s core crystal he broke it, this means that she could no longer return to her core that is basically death for blades. The battles get annoying from time to time but good job getting past these 👍. Also yes Jin is *sigh* annoying but you will know more late. There is was more stuff going on. Also thank you for posting this I hope your mother is doing well . See you soon
That‘s not it, we had Mythra cracking a few blades core crystals and their bodies did vanish.
@@tirex3673 But that was their core crystal that was crack before they went back to the core crystal (the boxed shaped core) they didn’t have cracks when they were human in a way but when they came back their core was cracked as a way of fixing itself. But Haze was different she was physically human and being attacked straight in her core technically killed her causing her to stay in that form and never reviving you know what I mean?
U should use rolling smash instead of double spinning edge because you get less aggro using it
Woo! Another episode!

So remember how Pandoria said Zeke is unlucky? Zeke actually has the lowest luck stat in the entire party (also means he has the lowest chances of getting unique Blades).
That’s not right😂
pouch items are broken btw and auto refill provided you have em, money's never an issue really, so buy art recharge ones or special damage, and slap em on your blokes.
and yes, the core crystal example from mythra do indeed make people down bad.
I actually do gotta stock up. I got caught up with salvaging offscreen so I def need to go to argentum real quick and literally all I saw was boob window I had to snap my brain back to focus😂
funny you say you hate jin. he's one of my favorite characters in this game.
Cool design, fabulous hair but his actions don't make enough sense to me yet
Give him time you'll see.
Does bro know he can switch between Pyra and Mythra?
Titanpeds are basically kilometers
Check how to play the game frfr, this boss easy if you know the mechanics. And you'll get more roadblocks like this in this later half of the game. TLDR; Get good to have a fun time
Like, genuinely just look at guides on how to get better or you're gonna have a horrible time in the latter half of this game
@@ia7051 I learned how to switch them in the last video and I was avoiding looking up anything Xenoblade related to avoid spoilers but I'll use guides ONLY IF I struggle
@@DeiZeiga Aight
You can still find spoiler-free guides, specially by enel
@DeiZeiga Nah dude you're doing fine right now, that boss is really tricky so no worries. Basically what was happening was the cables have a "spike" effect on them. So the damage you do is reflected back onto you after a certain point. Theres two ways to avoid that, put the orb on that seals spike damage, or just chain attack with a few orbs on before the spike damage starts messing you up. Most people struggle with that bit though.
37:19 he is kinda hacking core crystals and increases chance to awaken for people, but with cost (no spoilers yet)
Bruh, even saying that is a spoiler. Best to remove that last bit.
@@ianp5367 come on, he is sus at max rate

By the way, have you ever played a Fatal Frame game (besides Maiden of black water which is crap)?
I think you might like it.
I’ve never heard of it sorry 😅
@@DeiZeiga Fatal Frame Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is out on Steam and Switch, it's a remaster of the Japan and Wii exclusive of the fourth game of the series.
it's pretty good.
Oh and I almost forgot to mention that's a horror game.
I mean, not quite horror, more like terror.
Fatal Frame games don't use jump scares to scare the player, it's just pure terror.
What I'm saying is: Don't forget to wear diapers.
0:36 what is this original video on the left?
Just search puppet falls trying to drink water lol
Nim kinda cute though
The snout was a jumpscare for me it’s too much 🤣
Some of these battles seem too hard, especially on your level. Please tell me you upgrade core chips, use pouch expansion kits, and eat desserts.
I do upgrade them...sometimes probably not enough.
Please don’t call it “cult music” it’s one of my favorite OSTs in the game
😂I done seen too many horror games and movies now when I hear chorus in the background and the head guy is sus af I’m gonna think it lol
