@@weebman6996 melancholy is mostly sad and atmospheric feeling, like, not too depressive, more like relaxing sadness (i'm a melancholic type of person, so this kind of stuff is a comfort zone for me and i love it)

This ost stuck with me after reading the story, crazy how simple and small we felt like at the beginning...
This is my favorite part of the soundtrack, it makes me feel so much. I think about all my time playing the game, the story, the characters. It’s feels sad and melancholiac, yet has an air of hope. It fills me with a sense of nostalgia and loss from a place And universe I’ve never been to. This game is something special.

Why is this such a Halo Wars 1 theme-esque song? I can see the warthog race and the prophets in my memories just from that piano sound font.

It's got realistic sci-fi electronic vibes. It's not as fantastical as something like star wars or mass effect, but it's also not as gritty or dystopian like blade runner.

This BGM always left impression on me ever since I first heard it as I read the story. The sound felt very Arknights-like and it kinda really fits the game.

Yes. Chernobog is based on Pripyat. The name of the City is a refrence to Chernobyl, they are both prosperous cities in Russia (Ursus), and are both destroyed in a major disaster.

No, they arent. Ukrain and Russia WERE, ARE and WOULD BE different countries.
