Hey Kyle, I love your content. Need your opinion on something - I have a 2022 G82 M4 in Manual, had it for around 6 months with 7500km now (got it brand new), if you were me would you sell it before winter (I live in Canada) or get winter tires and drive it through the winter?
Hey there Kevin! Thank you for such kind words. (Personally) I would consider seeing what your cost basis would be if you sold it, but if you love the car (which I’m sure you do, especially with the manual!) winter tires would definitely suffice for making it usable throughout winter. I do think these next 6-12 mo will not be super kind to the new car market but as mentioned that’s just a guess

I think availability will start to increase with the newer models causing price and demand to drop slightly - but that’s the case with any new car really

For sure! I drove my f80 in winter without an issue. Tires are most important

Im ordering 2023 x7 m60i, in frozen pure grey metallic, I’m in love with the frozen. What was the biggest challenge with frozen paint color?
That’s amazing! Honestly if you drive only on the highway it can be alittle stress inducing, but either way- just stay away from other cars and if you can manage- get the whole thing PPF’d in xpel stealth. Will make it easy to wash and use as a normal car!

I recently ordered a 2023 m4 competition in frozen brilliant white with full silver stone interior about a month ago. Basically, all I had to do was see the car in person and I was sold lol. These cars look 100x better in person.

I would for the fact that it makes the spec as cool as it is, but I might consider PPF’ing the whole car to save some sanity haha

Should of gotten the gloss grey then just did the entire car with the stealth Xpel to make it appear frozen. So If any body work needs to be done, repairing it will be much easier.
For sure, if I did it again I’d probably go that direction. However xpel’ing a whole car is like 7-8k of added expense, which isn’t always great since it doesn’t add any value.
Do you recommend a RWD as a daily? I've found a really well specced g80 but it's a RWD and that's the only thing making me hesitate. I live in the north west of the USA so I get a good amount of rain here.
I personally never had an issue with it in Chicago! I’ve always been an advocate for proper tires over AWD, although AWD is great- the M3 has always been rear drive & I’ve dailyed the previous generations with no issues. If the deal is right, I would say go for it!

The car is honestly properly fast stock, but it isnt super dramatic if that makes sense? The 8 speed is fast, but almost too fast that it takes away some of the fun - I did like the G80, but I opted to go for more older/modified/raw cars for my personal preference - I think it would be hard to have the G80 and not want to do tune downpipes intakes etc, if I had one again I certainly would add those mods!

Minor but if you could get a new mic because the volume of your mic is off and has an echo effect on it, otherwise great video and really insightful on living with matte paint.
I appreciate the feedback my friend. Was windy so had to use a shotgun mic on this video, a lav was picking up too much noise otherwise- and only had a short period of time with the car before I had to drop it off to the next buyer. Amazing catch & thank you so much for watching - really working to bring clear and consistent audio levels throughout in future videos

I’m having the same issue with mine with the paint. I’m getting the track package stealth cause I didn’t wanna pay 10k for the whole car but the rest of the car wrapped in ceramic coating for east cleaning.

@@RA-ui8yw it’s honestly not bad at all in person, I thought the same when I picked mine up 4 months ago, I was headed to the dealer buy an f80 but ended up picking up the g80 lol I put a front lip dropped my hoe and it’s such an aggressive looking car when ur driving ahead of it and u see it on ur rear view mirror. It’s weird but anyone who has limo ceramic tint all around on the g80, just makes everything so aggressive.
I'm OK with the front grill. Just not OK with license plates in the middle of it

I would get the x drive version and use the manual shifter on the gear lever and you will feel way more engaged. You just need to learn these type of cars
I can assure you I “know” these types of cars lol. Rwd is a lot more exciting and usable than AWD and I kept the car in manual 90% of the time

6500 miles in one year. In the second week of september I will own my M3 competition xdrive for one year and I did 33.000km with it. It’s almost old compared to yours

@@KyleSulkar Im a detailer at a BMW Dealership. I did a previous gen frozen blue M3 CS about a month ago, it was one of the few customer cars I detail, most of vehicles I detail are trade ins
The whole time you were talking about the wheels I couldn't stop looking at the horrible mismatch of the rear door and rear quarter. Looks so cheap that they didn't flare the rear door skins out to match the rear guard.
Too many people buy these cars thinking they have a piece of jewelry. Get a Honda if you are afraid to drive and mod it. Warranty is not voided unless the mod caused the specific problem.

Carbon fiber pack on the exterior. Diffuser, grille, spoiler idk if it gets a splitter or not
High quality ceramic coating on the paint makes for really easy maintenance. No buffing, no polishing - easy to wash.

Yeah I guess I’m just coming from a place of owning the older m3’s and having other modified cars. I still loved the car, but as a designated sports car (which it was for me) it isn’t the most exciting option…at least in my opinion.

buying a rear wheel drive track car for commuting in Chicago weather. Never mind the foolish rationale used here for buying this car in the first place, that alone is reason to flame you here. That car is a good second car, not a primary DD commuting car in the area of the country you live in. Lesson learned I guess. BMWs have gone downhill in the past 10 years anyway so you're better off.
I have multiple other cars for commuting RWD has never been an issue and there has almost always been an AWD option.

Never will happen. They’d need to offer a regular 3 series touring before offering the m3. Homologation rules.

I have owned an E70 N63 (2013) since 2016 and I can day it is the worst purchase of my life by miles. Discourged me from ever entertaining BMW. With that said, this looks really good. Good luck!

I bought a 22 M4 frozen black. I love it! Never sell. Your description was lame. Just buy a Tesla. If you can’t enjoy owning a G80 it’s you not the G80. It needs no mods.

You must say bmw lost their way in design and going turbo routs was a big big mistake..e92 m3 is the real car especially if it comes with manual transmissions..driving these newer cars dose not make you feel connected with it..it is too soft..enough talks mate
Yeah unfortunately with current epa regulations you can’t put big naturally aspirated motors in these cars and continue to make power efficiently. E92 is a beautiful car & yes in manual is fantastic.
