    Wow .. Just re watching this section again Steve.. the B976.. it really is the first time we realise how wild and open the highlands are.. Top of the world. :))) My Paulina and I did it at 8pm . we were in darkness at the up and down and round and round bridge.. Then we climbed back into daylight. Chasing the setting sun.. Eery and breathtakingly beautiful .. I owe you big time my friend.. 🤓🤓💯❤‍🩹definitely NOT a dump :))))) 😁😁🤣

    Cracking route Steve, thru the Cairngorms. I did the same route August 2020, but the other way, Inverness to Teesside. Even filled up at that Shell garage without realising that was the motel you guys had stopped at. There's a nasty camber coming out when turning right, I almost dropped my VFR!
    Only about my 4th time rewatching this tour series. Nice one 👍🏻🤙🏻

    I wish i found your channel a lot sooner. Superb, brings back great memories of my dad and myself (as a pillion age between 11-16) jumping on the bike with a small stove and tons of food and going anywhere from a long ride. Sometimes a think he forgot i was there driving round these roads 😁. Best days of my childhood. Unfortunately he had a bad accident on one of these road in his mid 60;s airlifted to hospital, Recovered but and had to give up his bike. Anyway Thanks again, Keep safe (even though there are TOO many oblivious drivers who don't realise the road is for sharing) Alie xx

    Can I recommend the Isle of Lewis/Harris - ferry from Ullapool to Stornaway. The road from the very north tip of Lewis to the south of Harris, is a cracker, especially the bit from Stornaway to the absolutely stunning beaches on Harris, such as the gem of Luskentyre beach. I'm not a biker but exploring Lewis/Harris on a bike would be amazing, especially if you get lucky with the weather. I've had the privilege of seeing most of Scotland through my job, and while you have the highlands with all it's majesty, the Hebrides are just awesome 😎

    Savage footage once again Steve. I'm curious though, on a day like that when you "just leave the camera rolling" do you find editing is a pain. I know I really struggle to justify cutting out footage of incredible scenery or fantastic roads and my videos can tend to be on the long side as a result. Discuss. 😁

    • @Steve-Clark
      @Steve-Clark  5 років тому +1

      Hey Kaza I know exactly what you mean and yes it is harder to edit long footage and it does take so much longer as I cut then I cut a bit more and then a bit more. I try to look at it from a viewers point of view as in will they be bored if I keep in long parts with no commentary. Its a hard enough job editing at all but when you have loads of footage YES it can be a pain but we love it eh. ride safe buddy

    Steve how many sd cards did you use on the NC 500

      Hi Robert I use 32gb sd cards for my Helmet cam and 16gb for dash cam. Not a lover of these massive ones 128, 256, and 512gb as if one of those gets corrupt you've lost loads of footage. Think I used 6 of each on that tour. 32gb card set up on camera the way I have gives me approx 3hrs filming (60fps) and same with 16gb (30fps). Hope that helps mate

    I don’t think you classify fat enough to be able to call yourself “fat lad on a motorbike” change it to “mighty lad” or “big lad “ maybe “epic lad” “mega lad” “tough lad” Like your channel though
