    Thanks for demonstrating your double lift technique along with your clear descriptions and tips. It is so beneficial to me. I always feel a little nervous when performing sleights in front of anyone. However with constant practice and if need be referral back to your videos I am becoming more proficient at sleights and less nervous about performing them .Double lifts, full deck false shuffles and cuts in my opinion can greatly enhance a trick because it makes the trick a lot more difficult for someone to reverse engineer to work out how the trick is done..
    As always you have my gratitude for sharing your time and skill with us on your channel

      Thanks a lot for your insightful comment as always! I agree with it all 😊 I love sleight of hand, and the nervousness tend to go away with practice and performing experience. That being said, I still get very nervous too, hand sweating and shaking, I think most performers are like that, but we learn to control it more and more with time 😊👍

    A must know technique for sure. I prefer the pinky count/brake method because I don't have to look at the deck. By keeping eye contact with the spectator The sleight is invisible. If I look at the deck the natural reaction of him will be to look as well.

      @4suits  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for pointing that out! I agree 100%, I use the pinky count probably 98% of the times I do a double lift 👍🙂 But I provided some easier methods, because beginners often want to be able to do a double before they learn the pinky count. But learning the pinky count is really worth the investment, to be able to do an invisible get-ready without looking down or bringing the hands together is just an amazing tool. Lol, I actually learned recently that I've been doing the pinky count wrong for years 😓 I use my version all the time and it works well, but I still want to learn it the "correct way", but damn it's hard to re-learn 😅

    Yes, definitely the most used and important. Really justified if one can learn multiple, like a double from the middle...

    • @4suits
      @4suits  Рік тому +1

      Yeah, there are so many variations! One you dive in to it you realise that there like 100 ways if doing the double lift, but even more surprisingly, like 100 ways of replacing the double 😋

    Great tutorial as usual!
    I've always had trouble with the pushover double where i seem to always push way more than 2 cards across 😆
    The lift ive gotten use to is I believe called the strike doublelift as i still suck at pinky counting lol

    • @4suits
      @4suits  Рік тому

      Thanks! 😊 Yeah, the push over version really takes a lot of practice, definitely tricky. I think the strike is very good too though! I usually take a break before (I like to be on the safe side), so my go to is a push over-style DL but with a break. I'll probably make a video on it in the future 👍🙂 I explain it briefly in my Ace Production video, in the section called "block push-off", if you're interested 😊

    That's a fantastic tutorial my friend! Brilliant stuff 👏 The techniques are great 👍
    Very nice detailed tutorial 💪 Great handling and thanks for all of those tips you included in the video 🤩 I agree that it's crucial to mimic how you turnover a single card try to copy it the best you can. It's such an important thing to know, cuz everyone's different, so there are any right or wrong techniques to execute the double lift.
    Personally, I prefer the push over double lift, so if you can, please make a tutorial on that, cuz I'm not quite sure if I'm doing it in the right way or not... Thanks 🙏
    It's a really good video mate! Have a nice day 😜

    • @4suits
      @4suits  Рік тому

      Thanks a lot my man! I agree with it all 🙂👍 Yeah sure! My go-to double lift is a push over-style double, but it still uses a get-ready which makes it very secure. Then there are the ones without a break, kind of similar to a second deal. I'll probably make a video about it in the future! 👍😊
