  • In this video I discuss two additional fuse boxes that are located in drivers side panel and passengers side panel. The fuse box that's located in drivers side panel has no impact on the functioning of the MMI but the passengers side panel has MMI fuses that need to checked for issues if your MMI isn't turning on.

I have a bose system in my 13 audi a8 3L. Bose amp has power but nothing going to sub or rca output off bose amp. I think the fuses are ok (back of rear passenger seat F 1 &2). What do you think the issue might be? I read somewhere the MMI software update could cause the subwoofer to shut down. Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance for your help!

I haven’t much exposure to the update causing issues with the amp, I have done updates myself in the past.
Variety of things can be causing this issue lack of power to the amp, the amp might have power but the voltage is not enough feed to the sub.
      - Damage to the sub potentially
      - faulty wires
      - incorrect connection
      Hope that’s helpful

My screen turns on and then off and I have to reset every once in a while to turn it on then shuts off again. Also, Fuse C4 in the right trunk compartment keeps blowing. I think this is for the amp? I disconnected all and have it drying. There was water inside the amp and radio bay which I will be fixing due to bad drain tubes. Any suggestions or advice?

    • @homeoftheobsessed1168

Any type of water damage is not good near the amp. Depending on how bad it is drying it out isn’t always going to resolve the issue.
With everything being in a loop, if one module/fuse is not working everything stops working.
I would fix the leak and hopefully after the drying process that resolves the issue.
It seems like you haven’t done permanent damage to your amp from what you are saying.
