You cant take the moral high ground on the presevation of all life regarless of form, WHILST also being for the death penalty, you dont get to pick and choose how rightious you are in the eyes of the lord and start making exceptions for yourself. Thats the problem with the bible, if you start using it to prove your arguments , you better be willing to (p)ie on that same hill when the times comes to answer for all of the horrible things mentioned and reportedly commited in those same pages.
@@thefifthaceassociation the argument that abortion is equivalent to capital punishment is a fallacy because the person is being given capital punishment because of a criminal act they committed. if you can point to a place where an unborn human has committed a crime that our society has deemed worthy of capital punishment i'll consider this argument, until then it's preposterous. you see, capital punishment is protecting life. it's protecting the innocent lives of the criminals potential victims and providing retribution for the victims families. capital punishment also serves as a deterrent for other people to commit those types of crimes. capital punishment is protecting innocent life, just like abortion abolition.

I’m the most conservative person in my family now. I’m a woman who supports outlawing abortion in every instance. Removing a baby from the fallopian tubes where it can not survive or a baby that is deceased is not abortion. A baby that is threatening the life of the mother significantly should be delivered and all efforts made to save it. Babies can live outside the womb earlier and earlier thanks to modern medicine, so let them live!
My cousin had pre eclampsia, she spent three weeks in the hospital while they worked tirelessly to boost her baby’s development and monitor her. When she began to take a turn for the worst, they delivered that 2 pound baby boy via c section, he spent two months in the NICU, and came home at a whopping 4 pounds. He was smaller than my forearm. He is now seven, no physical or cognitive issues, an outstanding swimmer and little ball player. Maybe he is a little shorter than his peers, but his mom is 4’11” and his dad is only 5’4” so I blame that more on genetics lol.

As a person who was born & raised in a Christian cult, I left any kind of faith I used to have for a very long time.
It was only in the past 5 years or so I’ve truly come to appreciate the Christian principles I learned throughout my life. The importance of having solid standards that can’t be manipulated by the incredibly volatile times we live in.

In pursuing Jesus, you uphold the moral principles of the Christian faith. Following the principles is seen in the book of James for example how we say okay I am saved but how does that look like now that I am reborn in the abundance of the Holy Spirit. One thing is to say “rejoice in the Lord Jesus” okay but what is the foundation on which Jesus has left with his disciples that I can follow and apply to my day to day? That’s where the importance of being knowledgeable in the word and being educated on these principles and values come into play…..when you truly are filled with the spirit and protected from blasphemy and wrong teachings then you don’t need to worry about running into the wrong path, if that’s an issue for a fellow brother then in those shoes I would reevaluate the status of my faith and heart and seek spiritual guidance to have a stronger formation. 👍🏼

Every man should absolutely have a say about his child.
Every man who deserves a say should. Not all do.
And certainly no man should have ultimate say about his child when it also involves the mother’s body. I was adamantly in favour of my child being breast fed for as much of her diet as possible, for as long as my wife could manage, especially for at least the first year instead of formula. But I of course thought that while my say was important, ultimately it was her final decision whether or not to decide that was up to her.
When we were thinking of conceiving, we had a long discussion about what circumstances we’d feel we would terminate a pregnancy with regard to birth defects or conditions that would either place my wife’s life at risk or medical conditions we’d feel the moral choice would be abortion. Again, while I wanted to have a say…ultimately the final say was to be hers. I don’t think that’s unreasonable.
Education is important. Having laws against abortions wouldn't matter if Mothers could see their babies getting cut, sucked, torn apart piece by piece and then all their body parts inventoried on a tray they would probably change their minds. But they are only told we're going to remove the contents of your uterus. You know the clump of cells that happen to look like a baby.
Wait till this guy realizes that God created math and science to help us understand Him better.
