Hey there, my dad used to drive these new when he worked for Europe car, they usually had red striped velour seats the ones he drove. I have always liked Volvos, he just said it was quiet, soaked up the bumps but felt a bit aloof on the road etc… Had a certain stately feel to them according to what he said. Over engineered, especially the engines.
