thats great: 43% of your hand is dictated by the flop. i have no doubts why his style is successful because aggressive poker is always winning poker

i play poker for a living. Gus style is a losing style. The problem seeing a lot of flops with marginal hands is your always in marginal situations and lose a lot of money playing guessing situations. Thats why he loses.

Guessing situations? If you were good enough, like the pros are, there's not much guessing, it's about reads. Pro style is typically small ball, which is the style that you say is a losing style. Maybe if you got better at the game you could out play people after the flop instead of relying on hitting hole cards all the time.

he's actually a tiger. not a dog. :p teeheehee bold, courageous, farsighted, smart, and overly proud. That's him! oh and yes, tiger's are very lucky of course, sometimes they depend on that luck a little too much.. especially when their ego gets in the way. but they are always saved by that luck in the end. don't think that luck is a random thing, people are luckier then others. you think that's a coincidence? teeheehee

i love gus but 'short sessions when you're losing, and long sessions when you're winning'....? Gus is the biggest hit n runner on full tilt when he wins lol

its balony he a losing player. you only hit 1/3 times on the flop so it doesn't matter if its 43% of your hand. You will miss a ton of flops and can go hrs missing. Best way is tight and aggresive all the big money winners who have made a fortune wait for good hands ivey is much tighter then people think. Gus lost 4 mil last year. Hes finally tighten up realizing 1/3 flops playing all those hands your going miss more often then hit. Helmuth and doyle tightened up they used to be loose
