The fire and ice festival looked amazing.. The sculptures were so detailed. The Welsh accent part cracked me up. Catherine has such good taste in fashion hee hee i have the same yellow top. Xx

Ryan, I think your coverage of the Fire and Ice Festival was improved over last year! You knew what expect and really got in close and got some wonderful footage (plus added effects)!

What a great event you planned. It looks like so much fun for all ages. Well done. It captured my interest so much that I had to check on line for other videos too. I sure hope there is something like that around here next winter.

@@RyanandAiden yes!!! I found some news clips. I found an event here to go to next Feb. Just the ice sculptures though. It is an annual icefest with the theme 'Hollywood North' www.bloor-yorkville.com sounds like it will be interesting. Now if they can add the fire part

Hello Ryan and Aiden, friends, good food, and beautiful ice sculptures, make for a grand time. If you break the fin on the whale, then it's fair to say you broke the whale. And, they're endangered, so please fix the fin.
Oh no we didn’t think about that. We’ll definitely have to fix it now. 😂
I think I mentioned this when you put pictures from it on Instagram, but I definitely remember the ice sculptures from last year and how impressive they were. It looks like they were just as impressive this year, though they seemed to be melting. On a different note, I enjoyed the section where you were doing different accents. As an American, I’m aware of a lot of different accents in the UK, though some of them I know by sound but not by region. Some of that comes from years of watching Monty Python, I’m sure.
It was a little warmer this year than last so they did start to melt quicker. It’s great to see the kids excited about what characters are around the city. It’s good to know you have an idea of English accents. I feel like the general perception is we either speak with a stiff upper lip or as if we’ve been sweeping chimneys in Oliver Twist haha 😂

Enjoy Dirty John. It takes place in the same city where I live! Although I do not live on the harbor. Wish I did! My friend in high school lived in one of those houses. Her dad had a boat docked in their back yard. We would take the boat to Delaney’s, a restaurant not too far away. We would dock the boat nearby and get a nice hot bowl of clam chowder. Those were the days!

Perhaps it was so chilly at the festival because of all the ice . . . . Bwahahahahaha!
I can top your broken whale. I dropped my wedding ring (a band with two rows of diamonds) in the bathtub (don't ask) and it bounced . . . and I tried to grab it, missed, and it bounced again . . . repeat that a few times, but by the time it stopped it had lost about a quarter of the settings 😱 Luckily, I had insurance . . . downside, it was per setting so the total deductible was a little over $500 . . . 😔 . . . Expensive bath . . .
The festival looked super, just as amazing as last years!
You can glue that fin back on . . . or you can snap the other one off and pretend it's crippled . . . 😉
