    Those are Shimano's Center lock rotors, they use a bottom bracket tool to remove them

      I figured that out after I posted the video. It didn’t cross my mind as I’ve never really seen them before

    Aww no I also ordered this bike from Jenson USA from last October same size, although the Pine mountain 1 was the one I want, and I have another bike for sale Gt Aggressors with Stan's S1 wheels for $900 on Offerup for over 7 months time to find a new home hopefully it gets sold soon. Made serious changes with the bike starting with drivetrain, box components Prime 9 always love the simplicity, disk rotors were okay pet peeve is rotor rub which all of us hate hearing so replace them with better quality rotors for both resin + metal, & didn't like the pedals came with so went with Crankbrothers Stamp 7. With the Gt Aggressor's Pro I am selling it in California for $900 only upgrades it needs, hydraulic brakes, external dropper post, and new rear derailleur.

    NICE. Waiting for mine to be delivered next week. Changing out handle bars, peddles,stem and going tubeless before I hit the trail. Upgrade parts waiting for the bike.

      Awesome. I ordered a mud guard, grips, pedals, and tubeless ready tires. I like the handle bars on it I’ll probably keep them until they break or bend. They seem sturdy but I saw a video where a guy bent them on a jump.

      I would not change the handlebars yet as I did take bumps no bents, or any cracks. The only things I would consider replace, tubeless conversion, crankset to raceface, crankbrother stamp 7, disk rotors shimano taking in both resin & metal, & bottom bracket which I already have team x-type in hand.

      @@danielvelasquez7708 is it difficult to change out the bottom bracket? I have a full suspension specialized stumpjumper carbon expert bike that needs a new bottom bracket I just haven’t don’t it because I don’t really know how

      @@dustinadair7893 For me personally threaded bottom brackets are usually the easiest to remove from the shell, and for press fits you are going to need one of those specialty tools to remove them. You can check park tool for more information or head to a bike shop for an expert opinion they will tell you what bottom bracket is best for you, going to honest with you I have applied to a bike shop for almost a year nothing has happened, and consider myself an amateur with some experience in this kind of work. To answer your question check your bottom bracket it's either threaded of pressfit, you would lucky if it was threaded (Dub, Raceface, Shimano, etc), and for press fit they are quite difficult to install.

      @@danielvelasquez7708 I watched a video and thought I might be able to do it but we will see. I might just have a shop do it.

    Awesome! Just bought the same bike. Found a barley used demo bike online from a shop that had like 1 tiny scratch for cheaper. There’s a lot of local trails that my enduro bike is just way my too much to really ride on, or ride with my kids with so the hard tail will be perfect. Did you ever get a front fender for the forks?

    • @dustinadair7893
      @dustinadair7893  2 роки тому

      Yeah I just got a cheap zip tie one. I decked the whole bike with green pedals grips guard etc.

      @@dustinadair7893 Sorry to hear about your back, I hope you are on the recovery and will be back to riding again soon. Shame you couldn't do a yard/garden video with the bike, describing the changes you made and how happy you are with them. Maybe any changes you wish you hadn't made or other bits that you would change now if you could and why? Get well soon.

    How tall are u? I had never ride a 27,5, always 29. I think it gonna feel small. Also in my country this bike its in offer $ 1100... Its a good price? What do u think

      @dustinadair7893  2 роки тому +3

      I’m 6’ tall I love the bike. I did a couple upgrades like pedals and grips but it’s great and I paid more than that. I think it was about 1700$ shipped to my door total. I like 27.5s better but that’s just personal preference.

      I got san quentin 3 for $2000 aud or around 1257 usd on flash deal, the san quentin 2 was $1500 aud.
      I can't wait for mine to arrive, I'm 5,5 tall so I go for small hopefully it fit good, but if not they got 14 days bike return policy so yeah 🤞🤞🤞🤞

    Cheers.I did a fair bit of research as was looking for a hardtail for my 11 yr old for this Christmas. There is a fair bit of info out there and I looked at the 1/2/3 and opted for the 2 . This was due to semi decent parts on there and price point. My son is 5'2" but growing fast, so went for a medium and was advised that if slightly too big, I can put in a fixed seat post and change the stem in the interim. A hard tail is the way to go for learning how to handle a mtb . I own a full sus but have barely used it since I got a nukeproof scout. The guy in this vid is funny and also gives you a bit of info on the SQ2
