Looks great! Where'd you find that cast? I thought about ordering some online but they're pretty pricey bought new. Been hoping to find some in thrift stores but no luck so far.
Thank you! If you go to my Instagram (link in discription), I have @ the cast seller in the post of this drawing. Unfortunately it is not too cheap, but also not that expensive! I don't think you'll ever find them in thrift store, not accurately made ones at least.
Hi Michael, the whole drawing is done in Charcoal. I used Nitram Charcoal, they come in different colours representing different hardness. I used the blue one for light areas - I think it's 2h You can achieve subtle shift and lightness even with softer grades, the key is to have a sharp tip and give an even tone.😃
Your missing the point. It is training your eyes to see proportions. For 13 years, I tried everything and hardly improved my ability to draw proportions correctly. In 2 months I progressed more than 13 years and several techniques. By the third month, I found it no longer needed the practice. So if you always get your proportions correct, then this is not for you. Don't confuse the product with the skill attained.
You are good, handsome and funny. And you are not lazy, you are managing your energy. 😆
05:38 damn. i KNEW my materials were holding me back. once i order a sword, my drawing skills are going to skyrocket.

what pencil grade are you using in the lights to show form , yet still leave it looking white , local , not highlight . (8h?)

My place my rule 😂😂😂
Old style cast should be replaced with new versions
Ex : why use a row boat in the middle of a ocean at night
I never did that type learning. It's slow and silly.
