This is a commendable project, an exciting reminder of great memories which reinforces again the need to give peace a chance. However, there are significant omissions which (I’m forced to believe) are deliberate.
The Prince meticulously analysed the political “quarters” system, a means by which the Kind rules through his chiefs who are traditionally appointed to head their specific Quarters. The prince mentioned every community in each quarter, giving us the understanding of how tradi-political powers are dispensed from the king through his chiefs.
But when he got to Edo Quarters, he omitted Ode Eledo (Odoso). I felt strongly about this as I perceived it to be deliberate. Can we speak of Edo Quarters without Ode Eledo, that is, the family who heads Edo? The prince knows this enough and his account should not join the various voices that promote identity crisis, one of the greatest drawbacks our beloved town still wrestles with.
But overall, this is an interesting project which amazingly reignites the passion and and longing to be nowhere but home at this moment.
    Thank you!

That's well said my brother. people should stop tell a conflicting story, verify if what you about to say is not too clear to you than to give unverified history.

I need to write the eulogy down...Agolo mo lodo ọmọ amuda perin, Agolo did not just dig a hole, he dug a trench with about 30 meter deep across Ikare-Akoko which you can still see in some area in ikare.

Was it Not Agolo they said was served food with a whole cows head and he swallowed it all up. When asked what he did to the cow head his reply was.. 'Was that what pricked me on my throat".. hope I am correct heard the story as a child in 1985.

Prince Adejoro was wrong with his narrative, he failed to mention Ode Kelu and Ode Lisa as part of Edo. Initially Ekan was not part of Edo, but for the administrative purpose, Ekan was merged with Edo. Chief Eledo is the Head chief of Edo. please be informed that, Urere the father of Edo. Therefore Prince Adejoro can not claim authority on what it does not know

In good faith, the Prince only mentioned the 5 main quarters of Ikare. That's all. Please let's enjoy the video. Many more videos on the way. Thank you

Why are Yoruba women so impotant? Every town you visit, you are most likely gonna find women telling the orikis with eloquence. I need to do an extensive research.
