Hey Jen. I, too, wear tights with mini skirts. I like to wear colorful tights with plaid mini skirts and blazers. Such a good look. Also, I love berets - I style those with trench coats, turtle necks, boots, and leggings or skinny jeans. They also work well with turtle neck dresses. So here for the hipa-liciousness :) ❤ Continent

Jen you have the most fabulous fashion sense and I love love your style....you give me so much inspiration as we have similar tastes I just dont put together outfits as good as you do but I am getting inspiration from you. I like shakets but I do not have one as everyone else does so I dont like to follow all trends. As for the cross body/bum bags I have a few from last year that fortunately have removeable straps so rather than buying new bags I went onto Amazon and ordered just the wide patterned straps for an updated look. However, I live in Canada and the Walmart where I live does not carry nearly anything as stylish as what you find :( but gives me ideas of what to look for.

100% agree with the rec to go 2 sizes up on the second pair of pants, the cargo Time & Tru. I'm a size 12 almost always, and these would definitely be better 1-2 sizes up!

I always love seeing what you put together, so I am so excited for this! I love the #4 pants in the brown color. I don't have anything like that in my wardrobe, so I think those would be awesome to have. I'm definitely with you on tights with shorter skirts. I just feel so much more comfortable with the coverage of tights. I LOVE that sweater blazer! I wish they would make one in a chocolate brown. Girl, I have been wearing berets like crazy, and I didn't even know they were in style! LOL I get mine from Temu for like $3 or less. I wear mine with jeans, a tee and a blazer and high top Converse. I've also worn one with a maxi skirt, cropped sweatshirt and combat boots. I actually do love wearing red. I don't have a lot of red stuff, but what I do have, I really do like! I really need to get myself a pair of loafers...the problem is deciding which ones. The #40 jeans are super cute. I had pairs of silver and gold flats for years, and wore them until they were falling apart. I wish I had bought multiples of both pairs, because they were both crazy comfortable and went with so much. I don't think I'll ever forget you talking about your shoulders and your hips being on different continents! LOL Girl, you crack me up. I just love you. ❤
I love your stylings. So perfect and truly inspiring to style my figure. Also yes on the smaller cropped jacket thing. You just put into words what I didn't know I knew. lol As for Puffers. I like the concept and general aesthetic of them. However- my direct hatred for them comes from working in a dept. store back shortly after the turn of the century when Tommy Hilfiger Or Ralph Lauren puffers were all the insane rage. Racks of them. People trying them on in all colors and sizes and leaving them all over in front of all the mirrors. oh and the phone orders for them. I think I just associate them with that. lol I should just buy one and work through my rage. lol 😂😂😛

As always, love all your ideas. 💗 I feel the exact same way about my legs. The size isn’t my issue but just my skin, veins, etc is what I hate. I never wear anything shorter than a midi dress/skirt in the summer but will wear shorter things if I can wear opaque tights in fall/winter.

I have the Steve Madden pants. They're not bad. Great with a waist high sweatshirt.
I like ballet flats with a more of a square toe. Not crazy with the rounded toe. Definitely wear with cropped pants.
Sweet girl, I've had cellulite since I was eight. Weight doesn't factor into it. It's genetic!

I totally get hung up on sole color too! Love all the loafers you have shown. Thinking perhaps this is the route I should go as a Realtor in a rural area. Absolutely, wear silver outside of holidays or fancy events. I wear my shiny metals and sparkle, rhinestone footwear to the office, appointments, church or wherever and whenever. It makes me smile; brings me joy and others too.

I stocked up on some cargos too....I have worn flannelsthat look great and also fitted tees with a cardigan, in particular a fitted rock tee(example: I paired a white Blondie tee with a gray cardigan with black cargo pants, my Doc Martens or my Converse....

It's my knee fat that bothers me so much about my legs so I would always just pass on any shorter skirts, but now that you are mentioning wearing tights with it, I may try wearing a shorter skirt that way!

You have really taught me some things when it comes to my body. For a long time I was a size 12. I lost weight and now I can wear between a 5 and a 7. But I still seem to gravitate toward larger sizes. I noticed in that ivory Shackleton you went down to a small because you didn’t care if it buttoned. If that was me I would have bought a large .
