Another great and fun video, Mike. Unfortunately, the keyboard on my laptop is going out, while I wait to have it replaced this week, the exclamation marks and parentheses will be non existent for this post. Revolver is my favorite Beatles album and I'm glad to finally see it getting some justice, love and respect. The creativity in the arrangements, the playing between all four and the singing between John, Paul and George and songwriting between John and Paul were riding high. George was also coming into his own as a songwriter. The guitar tones are also unmatched here. Since you're a guitar player, and you no doubt have guitar nerds -- like me -- who subscribe to you: The boys were given some hybrid Vox amps that had a solid-state preamp sessions and tube output sections with an onboard distortion section that was smoother than a fuzztone, creating for a trippy guitar tone. To add to that, the boys were also using Fender amps as well, which have a cleaner tone without much midrange as well as a different type of tube complement that is different to the Vox AC series amps they'd been using prior to it. As far as my channel: I got the Rocky Stratocaster. I only did one video on it as of now -- in addition to two tributes to the late Tom Petty and a collaboration on an Rolling Stones song with my good friend who also subscribes to you -- but I've got one final video for 2022 coming out towards the end of November featuring that aforementioned friend...a tribute to George for the 54th Anniversary of The White Album and 20 years of Concert for George. Can't wait for all the Revolver videos
Thanks for the comment, and sorry 'bout your keyboard. Revolver is a great album; the creativity was really peaking by this point! I'm so glad it's finally gotten the Super Deluxe treatment! As far as the equipment and sound, I agree they got some fantastic tones. Saw a post recent of Paul with the epiphone he played the Taxman solo on. Fantastic! The Beatles really pushed the equipment to get the most out of it. Finally, I've been really busy with wedding preparations and such, so I haven't been able to watch much UA-cam, but I definitely want to check out that Rocky Strat video!
I realized I couldn't justify paying $200 for the 4-LP version at the moment, so as a place holder, I downloaded the stream from I tunes (copied them onto my I pod and burned everything on 3 cds) Sounds very nice. One day I'll be able to get the whole shebang, but just not right now.
Keep an eye out. The price does usually drop fairly quickly following the release date. I haven't quite made up my mind on it, but enough of a price drop would sway me to get the vinyl set.
@@MagicalMysteryMike I remember being disappointed that I couldn't get the 4-LP White Album set when that first came out, but a year or so later, I found it at WalMart for under $50. SO happy. So there's hope. Thanks, Mike.
I'm glad you enjoy my videos! Thank you; I appreciate you watching. Definitely, check out the new mix. This 2CD set is a good compromise if you choose not to shell out more for the Super Deluxe.
That was a pretty bad mistake they made there on the Target exclusive. I wish they put the bonus tracks in order to match the actual album on the 2 CD. I was happy they included Paperback Writer and Rain though on it.
I just saw this tonight at Walmart for $30. It looks awesome! However as an anal cd collector. I hate digipaks that don’t have trays!! Matter of fact I wish they all came in jewel cases.
The 2CD edition looks great.
I've so busy I haven't been able to truly dive in to this release, but I plan on remedying that soon!

Congrats 🥂
Thank you very much.
I need to get this to replace my 90's CD😅 always love when a new release comes out, so I can see your reviews

3:43 Rehearsed April 20th? Those 4 takes of Taxman were rehearsals? Interesting.
Indeed.
Mike when is your unboxing revolver super deluxe 5cd edition I been wating for a long time I will be happy it’s comes out 😊
I did a lot of media for it, but never got 'round to putting it together. Thanks for expressing interest.

Hi Mike do you collect vinyl?
I do, yes. Not as much as the CDs I've gathered over the years, but I've got a nice little collection.
What is the diference of this and the 1 cd edition?
I’ll do a video on it eventually. If it’s like the Let It Be edition, you get 1 CD with just the original album, a lesser book, and no slip case.
@@MagicalMysteryMike Ok, thanks.
@@MagicalMysteryMikei've got the 1cd edition, and yeah, this assessment is spot-on
Why do I have to wait for my 2 cd set.
Annoying, but worth a bit of a wait. I’m disappointed I didn’t get my Super Deluxe over the weekend.

Yes, silly Target. As far as disc 2 of this edition, I totally agree with both of your points. I thought the same thing.
@@MagicalMysteryMike I like the Sgt Pepper’s and Abbey Road 2 CD did the track by track match, just with an alternative sound.
@@BeatleDustino Absolutely. It's a cool way to listen. Familiar, yet unfamiliar.
With an error of that kind will make it rare , but only if they spotted it soon enough
@@BeatleJohn813 I doubt they will correct this error.
