I fucking love this tutorial. You're genuinely good at this game. Serious R aiming skills. 4:25 they were upstairs, the game doesn't consider ceilings as being a thing, so they heard you. Have you semi considered speedrunning at all?
thanks man, naw not a big speedrun guy. i have too much to do to spend that much time learning how to speedrun and spending thousands of hours of my life trying to get faster at this game haha. playing it normally every few weeks or months is enough for me.
HOstage at 2:10 - i figured out that if u go outside, and down to lower level, u can look up and see the guard and hostage's heads thru the window. u can headshot that guard from outside, below, which will free the hostage and cause the other 2 guards to come out side to the spot u were standing which is then easy to kill them from the bridge bomb room when u go back inside.
i intend on doing 2 more goldeneye series. 1 for xbox cheats/achievements and one for an xbox 00 agent walkthrough. just need to get a new laptop as me new cheap one doesnt support my capture hardware
love to see goldeneye been played proerly as intended (n64) most use PPC and think they are skilled using a M&K, id love to see then play on 64 doing 360 no scopes lol. they would struggle so much on n64. love the step by step by the way
This is the level that made me give up on my 00 Agent playthrough. It's ridiculously easy for a hostage to get killed and have to reset the entire run. Feel like the re-release on Xbox/Switch should have added checkpoints.
this is one of the easier missions on 00, i disagree on the checkpoints as well. making things easier to anyone can beat them with minimal effort is not the way to do things imo.

Took me a few tries but I got it. Hardest part is keeping the hostages alive on the top floor. Once you get past that the lower level is cake.

man this level made me so mad i turned on enemy rockets and blew everyone up i saw.
For 00 agent difficulty the enemies reactions seemed pretty dulled

i really think anyone could complete this mission is they just take their time and copy you

You actually missed a body armor in this level but you didn't need it
There's no body armour in this mission on 00 agent.
2:16 every time I go to the defuse, the first bomb it always explodes
Don't press the same button you use to open doors. Select the bomb defuser with your watch and press the trigger button

Most levels can be done in around 5 mins or less, checkpoints would be overkill
