I really learned that the hard way. Slowly fixed my Z-46 gameplay and crawled from 30% to 50% WR. Really have to slowly inch forward or backward depending on the situation as I find having to turn out when spotted just means death nowadays.
This one was tough, we crushed the east (My dd maintained spotting on theirs so I got the burst kill you were denied) but the west flank just did not want to win, in the end your team carried despite our huge point lead initially. Glad I managed a trade after stupidly running aground in our engagement.

I noticed that PQ have improved the length of the video, which is very good. I can watch 150 minutes/week of PQ High Quality Video instead of 50-80 minutes per week like before
The fire orders are somewhat related to Admiral Miguel Grau de Seminario's history, during 6 month's of the Pacific War, the Ironclad Huáscar was the only operating ship of the Peruvian Navy along with the Covertte Unión, against the Chilean Navy, so he had to rely on ambush tactics until he fell on the Angamos Combat on October the 8th, 1879. So it felt like a nice tribute. I just hope our Chilean brothers who took the Huáscar as a spoils of war before she could be scuttled to the bottom of the Sea are taking good care of her, as Miguel Grau was honorable with the enemy sailors.
tbh, i came to the conclusion that I really like the concept of the F key from gameplay aspects. Not historically accurate, but nonetheless interesting. Also: the burst thing is dumb, but get some ingame buffs by achieving something in the current game is cool. Just like the unique commander feats.
When the buff is activated the DPM is terrifying. Maybe increase the standard DPM and nerf the gimmick? Nerf either the duration or the reload increase.
Making the combat instruction so it only activates after being spotted then unspotted by a surface ship once would solve the problem of it having the booster right out the gate
Think the 2 point AA captain skill might be a better use of points than priority target considering how good the AA is, especially with defensive fire.
To the is it worth it question. Assuming you're fighting totally open water, you'll have 30 seconds uptime, 20 to go dark, and 50 to recharge for 100 second cycles. In the 30 seconds of uptime you can fire 12.9 salvos. If instead you fire continuously with out the buff you would fire 14.3 salvos over those 100 seconds. Basically using the buff in open water, you get to be dark for half the engagement in exchange for a 10% dpm reduction.
The thing is you have to go 50secs undetected to get that boost, so you are losing out on so much potential value to your team where you could have been shooting.
i made the calculation that if you don't fire for 50s and shoot for the full 30 with the buff you get about 1 shot per min more than just your regular reload, so if you can pop it on cd it's a dpm gain especially if you can sneak a few stealth schots in. now compared to the 7 Provinciën, it's only half a salvo per min more when not shooting for 50s

It's a weird gimmick. It's basically an unlimited reload booster (a la Austin) that promotes passive gameplay. Also as usual it's not effective with CVs and subs in a match, they just cannot seem to balance around CVs, and now subs. It seems like 'special commands ' are the new way to make ships special so I guess we are in for more gimmick buttons in the future. On a side note, the bug you had the other day with the firing button not working, had it today and someone said to hit 'b' for the commands menu and it resets and it works! Just for future reference
Statswise, best AA in the game. When fully upgraded, I can go into battle against T10 CVs and the only planes that make it to me are torp bombers because they get heal consumable. I just deny CVs and it feels great.
I really want to play this game again, i miss soo many new thing but my RX6700XT is still broken and still on a repair shops currently using GT710 and it even sucks at playing WOWS Blitz
So the new powercreep method is to add combat instructions to all new ships (which was supposed to be reerved to Tier 11 ships but whatever). Vey nice.
Seems kinda similar to bayard as they are both stealthy glass cannon light cruisers that have about the same dpm when boosted- bayard has limited charges but they aren't reliant on not being spotted. -bayard has better guns when the booster is out, speed boost, a small torp rack, and 25mm plating. -grau has great gun angles/360 turrets and absolutely insane AA. Bayard is probably better but being able to feast on the tears of enemy carriers is definitely appealing. This thing has better AA dpm under 4km than minotaur... and neither minotaur or de zeven get DFAA.
I'm feeling a little guilty right now. I have not played the game since xmas but log in everyday to get the login bonus leading to the monthly laughably so called " Super container" and to have a look around to see if anything catches my eye. I just logged in, collected the bonus and went to see what's new. Miracle of miracles the Almirante Grau was number one in the purchasable Treasures of the rulers random bundles. As i don't play the game at the moment i spent 500 doubs on the 50 Inca tokens required to unlock the ship. Hence feeling a little guilty picking it up while i still have no motivation to play the game at the moment. maybe one day the urge to play may make me return.........but not right now.
i mean deleting a 27k tier 10 dd in the initial engagement is kinda nuts, maybe the dd misplayed idk but it's to punishing at 30 sec or 66% either one of the 2 could do with a slight nerf, like 50% or 20s uptime like someone sugested
IFHE imo doesnt give you enough pen thresholds to be worth the 50% cut to fire rate. Don't underestimate the amounts of BB burning down fires you can pump in this thing whille penning most cruisers all over anyway.
The exact same thing crept into tanks, more and more tanks are faster with higher dpm, and many have clips that can take more than half of your health in less than 10 seconds, and if they're playing in a group, they can just about guarantee any 2 tier tens to die, resulting in more 4-6 minute games than the 8-12 it used to be

Burst damage is way more powerful than sustained damage because you can catch someone out, or they might have been low with heals to get better adren rush.
-66% reload = 3x dpm So 1:30min of constant fire is worth as much as a reload booster. So if you're dark and charging the booster, it's worth it to wait until it's full. But you lose a bit of dpm if you wait 20s to go dark. Not a lot though, seems strong.

The time it takes for the loot container early access event to be over I just lose interest. I have not completed a line sense Dutch cruisers even tho I have 375 ships in port. Hindeburg is well worth it, not exactly Meta but He/AP are very strong and it's also relatively tanky for a cruiser. The road to it is not the easiest, I'd say
Pros: nice AP, HE pens deeper, plenty of Torps, got the German hydro and on average more health than other cruisers Cons: their HE have a low chance to cause a fire and do little damage, turtleback armour is less effective, and very average with speed and maneuverability. But overal, can be a interesting line
That's an absurd combat instruction you get 1:30 minutes of gun power in 30 seconds, and if you can play islands you can even shoot while it's reloading. In that the end of the second game you had to wait ~20 seconds to get an extra minute of gun power. With both the 66% and 30 seconds it's WAY too powerful. This would be absurd in a div with a radar cruiser/dd you could sneak around and then every minute 1:30 delete someone with Radar/4 ships worth of firepower (triple on this + single of the radar cruiser).
You gotta realize that there are players out there that NEED the strength of the gimmick in order to perform better and stay interested enough in the game to spend money. All the while, the unicums get to play it too and stay unicum or become super unicum.
If you spawn mid against a mid located CV, you are going to be spotted easily within 50 seconds. Also, WG doesn't care about gameplay balance. Never have...never will.

This is why this game is headed for death. There is no reason that a ship should be able to do that to anyone. Everything is a gimmick, nothing is reasonable, and with every patch it gets more and more ridiculous. Haven't played in a week and don't miss it at all.

Another copy paste event is not what excites me. Furthermore this CC thing you have with Wargaming is not really working for you. You just have this awkward vibe around you reviewing stuff.
This gimmick seems so toxic, if they're gonna keep this mechanic, the duration should be 15-20 seconds only, since the requirements is so easy to fulfill

I feel like this thing will rock in DD hunting Divs and maybe Ranked, but randoms and uptiers it’s going to struggle

BB players with bad dcp management will not have a good time with this against you
Bump the base DPM a bit and reduce the duration on the funny button to 10 or MAYBE 15secs and it would be a bit more well rounded imo.
