I'm an OU alum who was at OU at the same time as Griffin and Peterson. I knew Peterson would dominate in the NFL, but O didn't think Blake would be an all-star calibur nba player. I thought he wasn't strong enough to battle down low with the nba giants and i thought his outside shooting was good enough to be a mid range threat like Malone or Barkley. I completely underrated Blake's athleticism and his strength which was still developing. I'm glad to say I was 100% wrong and barring injury, blake will be one of the best PF's to ever play. He may be the most athletic PF in nba history.
StuUngar Lol no you are forgetting Kemp.. McDaniels, many others in terms of Athletism. He is an amazing PF who I would choose to be on my team on the black top but not the best or 1 of the best IMO

it's too bad he got hurt, from what i saw of his summer games for the clippers he was doing really good and would have helped them out a lot. he was pretty much dominating the summer competition. hopefully we'll see his full potential next year.

I think the Clippers got it right this time with their No. 1 pick. Griffin's the ideal power forward type and pretty damn smart on the floor from what I could gather. Just very unfortunate he injured his knee off a dunk that caused him to miss all of this season. Hope he comes back stronger than before. I wanted to see more of him.
