Hahaha Bawa jee AKA Hunter, very nice and interesting way to describe Basant in Pakistan. Sadly government officials restrict kite flying for the right reasons, which in result killed this festival.

Yeah! And this is exactly why it's banned now. You can't have fun at the expense of other people's lives! If you're so desperate to fly a kite and wanna have fun, go to a park or something. But flying it on rooftops and stuff is just messed up. Folks on bikes lose their lives thanks to the chemical threads that are used. Why would one prefer fun over someone else's life? That someone could be the sole earner of his fam. Bas Allah hidayat de sub ko.

Lol more people are killed and injured by bulls and camels kicking them on bakrid or people shooting each other by firing in the air in weddings. Why not ban Bakrid and weddings. Lets not beat around the bush please with good english and love for kids. Kite flying is not liked by many in Pakistan because it is synonymous with a Hindu festival - Basant. Be honest to yourselves first, please Wait till someone discovers a hadith where some Arab somewhere flew a kite and youll have all her commenting flying kites from the Badshahi mosque lol
