AJ was doing insane stuff in 2002, when Will was 9 years old. And that inspired Will to do even more insane stuff in the 2020s. I have no idea who is that 9 year old now, but I can't wait to see what he does

AJ will be in the WWE Hall of Fame in 10 years from now or sooner.
It's actually Amazing Red. He invented like so many of the moves people use today. AJ is more inspiring but Red was already changing wrestling when he was a teenager

Aj styles is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Hes up there with macho man
First Rollins, now Ospreay. AJ (and to an extent the early TNA X Division in general) really was a pioneer for the modern wrestling style.
I'd say the WCW cruiserweight division was the first seed planted for that and the TNA X Division took inspiration from that and turned it up a notch.

Aj got me back into pro wrestling after not watching for most of my adult life.
It was the same for me. Granted, I've stopped watching again. But he became an all time favorite quickly.
Man I wish AJ debuted in WWE Royal Rumble with his Gtrits Get Ready to Fly theme. I always loved the them and AJ's entrance was simple yet cool. I always listen to it when I work out

Likewise. I stopped watching WWE weekly post Shawn's retirement. It was only the WM & in 2016 for some reason watched the royal rumble & that hooked me back to regular WWE product. What a year 2016 was & he holding the WWE title was phenomenal!

he's not wrong. we had the wrestling channel in the uk many years ago and they showed ring of honor. AJ styles is the ONLY wrestler i've seen that's made me go "wow". he's been dumbed down a bit now but he is 45, when he was in ROH and TNA he was another level.
Literally watched tna just to see Aj, stopped watching the day he left,followed his NJPW run, was on verge on quitting wwe and he brought me back in rumble 2016
That year they had Reigns go over. Fast forward today they are still shoving reigns down ppl throats. Meanwhile AJ is doing nothing but take up a slot.

AJ isn't Shawn Michaels, AJ is AJ Styles...Wish people would stop comparing them all the time, AJ is his own person with his own legendary status.
Imo Shawn is overrated, he was talented for sure and was one of the greats sure, but AJ is the better wrestler hands down and AJ made his own career so stop insulting the phenomenal one like that!
