I really respect this thinker, but this time I fail to grasp his argument. He says that God is the Center, and without Center (that is, without God) one loses balance and resorts to extremism. I could well agree with that. However, the hard facts suggest that extremists are not atheists, but people strongly believing in God. While not all religious people are extremists (ofcourse), it somehow appears that most extremists are deeply religious. In this view, i would agree more with Guenon, namely that real Center is not necessarily God, but pure Metaphysics instead. A religious man may well be a saint, or a balanced ordinary man but also a vulgar extremist. But a metaphysician is always and de facto balanced.

+Dalakouras A. What he talk about is more abstract. He talks about it in the sense of "Self-Diciplining".

Amazing as expected.
In my humble opinion, Dr. Nasr is the leading Muslim intellectual of our time, or perhaps just the intellectual, Muslim or non-Muslim.
This guy is great mA. He is a uniter in this day and age of sectarianism.
True lecture, impressive stijl to deliver. Waving plants in the background are disturbing.
