But the irony on that is that, Hes talking about UA-cam's side that is working with Streamers. On the opposite end the youtube side that works with regular youtube creators treats them the same as how he refered to twitch. Just numbers in a sheet.

😂😂😂 Took me so off guard , watched the whole thing
I loved the bit at 1:02:33 where Ludwig talks about building tools to augment UA-cam. UA-cam and google as a business are too big to move quickly and accommodate all the community needs. So it's great to hear they were supportive of this kind of work of creators creating their own tools at the grassroots level! Realistically, it will be 1-2 years before a feature like what Ludwig built actually gets launched because of all the red tape.
UA-cam should continue to focus on becoming more of a platform and enabling creators to building on top of them, instead of trying to add all the features themselves.

Colin and Samir literally lock in every single influencer I ever want to know more about
Okay when he's talking about the decision between Twitch and UA-cam, and the moment he realized that UA-cam is about the individual and not just looking at a number of a spreadsheet is a good take away from this video for any company that wants to retain good talent. Even a good consideration for the the worker/talent that cares about how they are treated beyond the money that they are earning.
What's even crazier is that for Twitch Ludwig isn't some random streamer. He might not have the highest viewership but he IS the biggest subbed to streamer, he takes the initiatives to build their culture, he organizes and participates in events that form the collaborative bubbles of Twitch not only from an end-users perspective but also from a company perspective (if you see streamers as employees, not contractors).
If he was a random streamer, even thought it's a shitty way to see any streamer, I would understand but it BLOWS my mind that Twitch wouldn't fight for one of their biggest creators because they don't want to make a few compromises that could ease his life (and make him more productive by the way)...

This was an awesome interview, like shockingly great. I came as a Ludwig fan, and it was awesome to see how organized this was, nobody spoke over each other, and Colin and Samir clearly did their research and knew what they were talking about. Definitely gonna sub and stick around for more of this type of content
Hey Colin and Samir, love your content. I have one suggestion for this series: After the cold opening with the short highlight scenes, why not take a minute to introduce each guest with a quick edit about him/her. Like you do in the published press (started in, viewer count, main content and so on). Just a short overview in case somebody doesn't know a certain creator. So you be still interested in watching it.

That was amazing. I'm a huge sports fan and his whole career really resonated with me and how players talk about their career. The part where he's talking about the emotions of a sunbathing felt exactly like a big game like the world cup and victory; also the contract and how twitch didn't want him and treat him like a human is an exact parallel between pros picking between two teams and how UA-cam is like a small club while twitch is the biggest team ever
Lud is literally the golden boy of modern day content creation. He’s a natural entertainer that people of any age can get into and genuinely enjoy watching. He deserves all of the success that he’s received and Twitch really messed up losing him. Though, #TheHoodWatchesStanzNow

Honestly, I think that intro was amazing - a cold open which transitioned straight into the interview. The retention curve also has a huge spike at the beginning, nice job guys!

Very good! A tip for next time to make it easier to listen too is to not have the noice cancelling on adaptive. At least limit it. When Lud speaks it sometimes picks up the echo from the room and that together with the amp makes it sound like he is screaming.
Love the way they did the colours for this looks so good, the blacks are so skillfully not crushed to loose all detail but still deep and contrasting

One suggestion, please consider taking it easy on the high end of the EQ. It's very harsh to me compared to lots of other content. I'm about 30 minutes in and my ears are feeling really fatigued. Just something to consider taking a look at!
