The Cheap Seat Critics podcasters were recruited by vampire hunters to go to Forks, Washington in order to investigate a potential disaster. After recruiting a seasoned veteran Cass for the mission, they arrived at Twilight to mask their presence and observe the main suspects: Edward Cullen, a “vegan” vampire with psychic abilities to read people's thoughts, and a girl who’s managed to strike his interest, Bella Swan.

repsectful note, i think people would engage and like this content more if instead of talking so much, you actually watch the movie and talk after big plot points so that it keeps people more engaged

Well, in order to not be copyrighted, you have to either stop it frequently and talk , or put music in the background , or only have the audio playing and not the video, or only have the video playing and not the audio. You can’t just play large sections of the movie uninterrupted that would be taken down for copywriting issues. Or they would have to do that thing where they randomly zoom in and you can’t see the entire frame😂

We have experimented with using audio and/or film footage, yet unfortunately being that we all use different set ups, it has never lined up to work great.
However, the structure used for the podcast does change almost every episode decided upon by that episodes host. Twilight here was given a scene-by-scene approach, which does add a lot more talking than a structure such as "popcorn" where we jump around and tackle those big plot points more directly.
