He is honestly one of my favorite side characters because he is one of the few people nice to naruto early on. He doesn't make a big deal out of any of his deeds and even jokes about how he'll use them for advertisement. He is just happy that naruto enjoys his ramen and stays loyal to the shop, he doesn't need anything more from him. He treats naruto like a normal person which is more than pretty much everyone else was doing

Teuchi is like the father Naruto never had he was younger, and still treats the legendary knuckle head ninja as the young boy he still feeds ramen even as he becomes Hokage. It's such a sweet story

Well he saw naruto as business 3rd hokage owed minato and iruka saw himself...the only person with no agenda was hinata...she genuinely liked the kid...and to be fair the boys like kiba choji shikamaru hung out with naruto a little..makes no sense he was hated considering the younger generations didn't know about the demon fox...for his sake neither did he so he could grow up somewhat normal which was smart
