This was one of the easiest mounts I got in TWW. It’s just reliant on some rng in what scenarios you get. Once I decided to actually farm it, I think it took me 6 days because I was waiting on the last scenario in 2 delves for a couple of days
i am just right at it: since this monday i've tried to complete the glory achiev but some lore scenarios just won't pop up... and considering I've done 4 to 8 lvl8 delves for about 1.5 months now and I still had half of the stories missing it blew my mind seeing how much I had left
Honestly, if you’re doing delves as a primary activity (it’s my main endgame) then the only “hard” part is Zekvir. The rest just came naturally or as part of having fun doing the exploration.
oh, I got that mount accidentally but I used delves to gear up the "shitter" alts (the ones I use for professions, them getting hero gear without group content is simply too amazing)
it took me embarrassingly long to realise there's story variants, told someone who hadn't done a lot of delves I really hated one of the nerubian ones and what mechanics it had. the next day we did it together and it was completely different and I legit think he thought I was going insane...
Finally got it after ONE MONTH of Mycomancer Cavern Delve disappointment. Missing Pigs just refused to pop (was making the stories RNG really the best decision, Blizz?!) and was mostly Mushroom Morsel with the occasional The Great Scavenger Hunt. JUST LAST NIGHT, finally got Missing Pigs! xD Best of luck to everyone with that insane RNG!
i had done every achievement except the treasure one and i somehow have not bothered to pick up more than 5 ..after having done probably over almost 100 delves lol

This is especially true with the ?? difficulty, otherwise you won't have an interrupt for his regen. You can burn the interrupt in the ? difficulty though just because he doesn't cast his regen
Story varients are whats holding me back.. i have level 60 brann and have done all the delves like 20 times each on t8 and still missing a few story varients...
The easiest way to get ballpark numbers is check out publicly available sources like data for azeroth. They’re limited to their own sample size (I think there’s is roughly 3 million accounts) but still a solid estimate. If you want to get real sweaty you could use blizzard’s api and build your own data set but that is not for the faint of heart
I have this and literally the hardest thing to do was wait for all the stupid delve stories to show up, it literally took me a week to get the stupid pig story...
beats me man, my best guess would be a combination of 1) the expansion being out for only a few months (recency is the biggest factor when it comes to mount rarity), 2) people not liking this mount as much and 3) some of the achievements feeling a bit tedious
calling this one of the rarest mounts seems disingenuous when its just one of the newest mounts so not many people have it yet, but almost nothing on the todo list is "rare"
It's easier for sure but sometimes that doesn't effect rarity for recently added mounts. My hunch with this one is that some of the achievements are easy but pretty tedious so people may not bother with it. Alternatively some people may just not like the mount that much.

Rarity and difficulty do not have a linear relationship. Something being hard to get doesn’t automatically make it rare. Some very difficult to obtain mounts aren’t rare anymore, for example: TLPD, Ashes of Al’ar, Rivendare’s Deathcharger, and Invincible. Also what do you mean by the firebirds? Lol
For water breathing for those with the profession, just stick your fishing pole in the slot for the profession and you're gtg. No potions or other things necessary.
in case you are wondering where i got the stat from, check wowhead for the achievement and it tells you what % of the playerbase has the achievement. it directly translates to the mount ownership as well. mount addons and website trackers dont update very often but wowhead stay on top of achievements earned.
Wowhead is not a good source for any rarity. Its data set is very limited because it only looks at those who have voluntarily signed up for a wowhead account. That’s why it says “attained by 11% of profiles” and not “11% of the player base” because it’s only looking at wowhead profiles. The data I use for mount rarity is harvested directly from blizzard’s api usually a few days before I upload it to eliminate any dating bias.

Rarity is literally defined by the amount of people who have a certain thing. Recency certainly plays a big role in rarity, but difficulty and popularity (especially) do not always define rarity. Ex: Both ashes of alar and invincible have a low drop chance and are quite popular but are not very rare due to people being able to farm them to death over the years.

The best recent addition, TYVM. What's crap is Delves have replaced PvP in the bottom row in The Vault. 😔 My lock plays alone or just with the guild. Delves are great to practice in etc... The rewards, you're missing out on LOADS of high end gear.

I’m there too. I got the mount about a month and a half ago. Took two weeks because some of the stories didn’t rotate the way I anticipated.
Putting Mastercraft Kalu'ak Fishing Pole in your Fishing Rod slot also gives perpetual underwater breathing that works for “Just keep swimming”.
This! I spent the time to level up my rep with the Kalu'ak just for this fishing poles ability.

Ive had this mount for a while now. I have 428/500 bountiful delves complete and then ill have finished all the delve achieves. Lots of soloing.

do not use your interrupt on the spittle for zekvir, it counts as a snare so remove it with a movement ability or a cleanse instead
