My goodness, this was a car that I literally cried to own as a kid. And how incredible that this one maintains the original V10. I knew there was one but with a V8 engine.
Wow that is amazing knowing that the original had the sound and the hookups to do is components what a amazing a V10 engine sounds like I wish the actors could have driven it in the v10 style but it sure put a smile on my face hearing it and seeing this sexy gorgeous beast come to life 😊

I agree but it ruins a valuable piece of historical documentation.
There has been many misconceptions made about this vehicle. The Watermark is in place in case questions are asked when the video is saved and reposted. They know the original source and can find out the truth. 2 Beauty cars had V10's. This is the first car, the second one was shipped after. The stunt car that was sold WAS NOT EVER a V10 equipped car. The stunt car was built by Unique Movie cars in 93' The car in the video above was built by Aero North in Madison Heights Michigan in April of 93'. The V10 cars were 100% Chrysler products and this proves it. The team in the beginning photo are the ones responsible for the build. They deserve the credit. The V10 cars were 1.2-1.5 Million in 1993 to create each (I'm pretty sure its each but it could be the cost for both?).
I heard this isn't actually a Dodge Viper. But a piece of alien technology that was discovered in the desert
Amazing document, incredible all the work that was done to create this beauty car. What a shame these beauties were destroyed at the end of the show...

The beauty cars haven't been documented as destroyed. It makes no sense to destroy those cars. It is believed they are still out there, Paramount, CBS or Chrysler still have them.

I know if I ever win the lotto I’m going to have two of these custom built to match the tv show. One will be a glass car case. The other I will take it on a drive once and awhile and car shows.

It sucks that this show never took off the same way Knight Rider did. I finally gave up on a reboot. Also gave up on the fandom since they didn't seem to exist either.

@@nbcviper Actually, there are 6 beauties that had V10's throughout the show's full run. They built 2 Defenders, 2 of the Red Roadsters and finally 2 of the Blue GTS coupes -- all with 6 speed manuals and V10. Both the beauty Roadster and beauty Defender used on Viper's MADD Dash Across America in 1997 had the V10 and Manual.
Shame the watermark is so intrusive. Cool piece of history though.
This show was the new knight rider... but it didn't take off very well. I remember watching it sometimes.
I only seen one viper in my lifetime. It was in 1996 - 1997. . .
