Love this interpretation. Most famous pianists play it too fast, but this one really catches the essence of this piece. Very fluent, yet not in a rush. It respects all the subtleties Chopin gave to these lines. Nice discovery.

I agree completely, many rush through it. This paused thoughful version is far more subtle and beautiful.

Yes I agree, and it remains light and not ponderous. Lovely.

The child definitely falls asleep to this rendition. Beautifully played.

Me too I failed asleep. It was not the mind of the composer : just a lovely fight against a coming dream ... He was deeply in love. Also by night ...

One of the best (if it's not THE BEST) interpretation of Chopin's Op 57 ! Played with a lot of sensitivity and very smoothly with the perfect sound of Fazioli 🎹 ❤ ! Very subtile and smooth, I think Chopin would adore it if he listened to this version ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sorry ! the purpose of the composer was not to fail us asleep, but only to tell us to fight against a sweet dream ... just like a wonderful pulse of life. Nothing has to be smooth.

A very, very impressive rendition of this lullaby. And oh, these last 2 chords: the child is now fast asleep.

My favourite is Whilhelm Kempf. He makes me hear absolutely everything in the piece. A masterpiece. Please check him out as well. I have great respect for any interpreter that doesn't get in the way of the composer. Kempff is a league of his own. Close your eyes, be inside the cradle, and be the baby of this well deserved piece. Hope you will enjoy it whoever you prefer to listen to.
