the extra balance with snowskate allows you to hold it on the slarve point between carving and washing out

Riding the trucks and ski will make you never look back at the flat decks.
In 2008. My first Ralston brought so much attention at the resorts.
Flip tricks, carving, big air, powder.

Shout out to Danny and RALSTON Snowskates out of Meyers. South Lake Tahoe.
Flat deckers could never understand how amazing the trucks and ski make a difference.
Ralston was my first bi deck
And Lib tech was the first powder SS for backcountry.
Grew up riding my Ralston at the resort Sierra-at-Tahoe.

I got into snow skating back in like 2006 or 2005, it’s fun as hell and me and my buddy’s used to snow skate every winter. We actually snow skated for years before I got into snowboarding and I would pick on snowboarders and say oh that’s too easy try snow skating lol. We got good tho, was able to kick flip, varial flip, and of course all the shovits. We would set up a skate park in my back lawn and we had tails quarter pipes and tons of ramps. I kinda wanna get back into it tbh

@@ylemscalamity that's awesome. I didn't know anything about snowskate until this conversation.

i was thinking of putting a big freebord deck with the little toe hook bindings on top of a fat 14 or 15cm wide skwaal.maybe a K2 Pontoon

or instead of my telemark monoboard maybe just regular snowboard bindings raised 5cm up from a monoboard.that would be a more accessible design for the average snowboarder.and cheap.when i have a 3D print design i'll put it out.i think it will need aluminium strips inserted to distribute the force from the mounting screws and maybe a glued on top sheet to secure the binding screw inserts...people might start cursing their tight boots that dont allow heel lift..haha
