Imagine. If they added in the ability to have one helldiver control the guns of the ship to “clear the drop zone” before the others land? Like if it was just infested with enemies everywhere and you had to tactically clear an area to begin your operation? Then the gunner drops in shortly after the others get some control.
Yep, all those ships you see represent other players and such across the planets on diffrent missions, and when you see the ships firing on the planet, that id happening in real time players are calling in airstrikes and supoort drops. Its so freaking cool!
I have always liked the fact that you can see the other Hell Diver pods dropping through the planet's atmosphere while yours is in mid drop. Now, imagine if Super Earth is to be invaded the amount of Hell Pods dropping through Super Earth's atmosphere as the Hell Divers return to defend the home planet!

@@lordvader8150 with the bots, you can hot drop on one of their outposts and take out their fab with your pod.

You know a game is frigging well worked when the loading screen is using irl players to represent the army attacking the planet
Then you land on a POI and get jumped by a bug breach or bot drop before you can even flinch.
