If you use larger surface areas and bury the metal deeper so that all the of the surface is making contact ... it will increase the voltage dramatically. Also make a 5 gallon bucket of salt water. An entire box of salt to make it strong, and pour around the area where the metal is buried, you will increase the conductivity of the soil.... Also you can drive a nail into a nearby tree and connect to the nail for positive, and the metal buried as negative. The wind blowing through the branches and leaves generates a current down to the roots because of the constant movement of the branches and leaves due to the wind. Increasing the energy output at this point is only a matter of expanding to multiple trees in a parallel manner by doubling and tripling and so on the collectors. ( 1Tree = 1 collector) ... ( 2 trees = 2 collectors) ...
When i watched this the same thought crossed my mind but trickling a charge to batteries for the added build of energy. Would be great to see this on a large-scale system.
This is what Niccola Tesla was doing in Cripple Creek, Colorado. Our soil is very rocky, and quartz and granite full, which brings up our piezoelectric field, that's probably why he was here. ALL anybody knows, from seeing it, is Tesla running around putting into the ground what looked like "rods" (no one knows WHAT, a conductive device,) ESPECIALLY after thunderstorms. I am here because I have given myself the goal of not paying my gouging energy company anymore. My goal is do to this in one year, and I am just thrashing around at this point gaining knowledge. Thank you all for being here.
I hope you a successful venture and I also wish to cut off the amount of energy I have to put out to pay for what is given freely by our creator wish you the best of luck I wish hope and pray that more of us would strive for knowledge to free themselves from a system of greed fear that limits the mindset
Thanks heaps Rob I have been suffering from severe depression and anxiety.i find that copying your experiments has helped me immensely and the way you teach feels like your explaining it for all ages so to speak.Keep up the great work
I suffer from depression and anxiety also. I need to move ideally but that just isn’t possible. I might try some of these experiments out and try to get my mind out of its current state.

I remember a friend of mine who was a military contractor talking about tech like this. Basically, he said he saw a prototype prefab building with plates driven into the ground that had power with no need for an electrical grid. This was in Afghanistan back in 2010 or so. He only saw it once and didn't know if it was some proprietary corporate technology or what but it fascinated me. This is the first I've seen of someone actually experimenting with it because I never knew what it was called.
It's good that he didn't see something that he shouldn't have. I too have served Overseas and once saw something that I think about to this day. It was something that we've all seen but it was in a place that few ppl knew about. It was a very large weapon place on a hill. It was not something that one would ever expect to see on a hill. It blew me away! I rarely tell anyone about it because hardly anyone believes me. It may have been classified but I'm not sure so I keep quiet about it. It just goes to show that ppl see things, especially in the military, that maybe they shouldn't. There High Strangeness in some places in this World, for sure. Peace.

Great presentation. Might I suggest that you use a 4ft copper and stainless steel rods? The upper layer of the earth on how dry is really superficial. Boring in a 4ft copper rod by a creek as the positive and the stainless steel rod by your house as the negative. Let's say that the creek is a hundred yards away from the house. Bead a wire from the creek and one by your house. The positive line will be inches of touching the negative stainless steel rod. Coil up a 1ft tube of copper wire then exit to attach the wires to a pulse motor. Place a narrower coiled up tube to fit in the larger one. Volt test the coil. And see what you get 😁
To add to the conversation, I had some thing interesting and surprising that happened to me a few years ago.. I am a Ham Radio operator. I had two copper ground rods just out side my ham shack window. One was a 4 foot rod and one was an 8 foot rod. I decided to connect their #8 wires coming into the house together in hopes of an improved ground area and better grounding effects... AS soon as I touched the wires together to bond them there was a loud snap and I got one hell of a shock... I never took this any further but think the two different length ground rods had a different ground potential and in essence a potential difference between them... Any knowledgeable Ham knows that if you have a potential difference you get a voltage and a current flow when they come together. I say forget the copper and the Zinc and work with the different lengths of copper 2 to 1, 3 to 1 length variance and take some measurements to see what is happening here...... Just sharing ideas here for maybe some thing to be developed that will help humanity with cheaper power. The best to all.
I’ve experimented with earth currents. The changes in power from various materials indicates at least part of the power generated is electrochemical. The depth and composition of the “electrodes”, mineral makeup of the soil, pH, moisture content, and any number of other variables make a difference. I used stainless rods to minimize electrochemical reactions. There may be additive or cancelling currents as well. After experimenting for days in several locations I never did come up with definitive criteria. Inserting the spike as little as an additional inch or moving it a foot raised or lowered the voltage sometimes arbitrarily. Sometimes the power changed with moisture but not always. Sometimes it went up and sometimes it went down. I think it just depends on what the makeup of the subsurface materials and stratification, as well as the cumulative contact area between the various subsurface materials and the rods is at any given location. Like you did in the video, manipulating the rods produced variations. It was frustrating but fun.
One way could be to use an isolated but conductive soil filled container with a controlled water saturation level, place it in a dug hole in various places and back fill the hole, then test the differences between each location, if indeed any. And also turn the container 90degrees in each hole.
I did an art project few years ago with earth batteries but with plant pots. It was working pretty well using acidic soil (consequently with plants requiring this type of ph), copper and zinc rodes and I could gather 5volts, amps were a bit low but adding more "batteries" in serie was much better. I think humidity of the soil, the size, the surface and the distance of the anode and the cathode can make a big difference. Looking forward to try it in nature! Anyway thanks for your channel, great contents!
My friend and I spoke of this a few years ago and it was such a great discussion. Galactic current sheet is connected to the heliospheric current sheet that is connected to the Interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) which is then connected to the global electric circuit. Movement of charge flows through the L-shell magnetic field induced by the global dynamo magnetic field. Current must go somewhere...it's simply tapping into whats already flowing.....grounding.

When looking for telluric currents Use the same material for both the anode and the cathode to isolate out galvonic reaction. You'll need seperation distance to have electrical potential. And you should try placing electrodes in a circle equal distance from a center electrode as youll find one electrode on the circle has the highest voltage, and another will have the lowest voltage with respect to the center electrode. Throughout the day You'll find that the direction of current will change.
@@kreynolds1123 I agree with you. That would be a way to potentially measure it. Pun was unintentional. It would be easier to simply use the same metal, though.

You are one of those inspirers (spelling) of people, who will do greater things than we can thus far imagine. And here you are just playing around on the forest floor. Or local park grounds. Rock on Robert!
Hi Robert , it's interesting harnessing the earths energy and using it for different things . I lived in the mountains near Byron Bay , Australia . I lived in a little hut in the forest . Now I received an injury , a cut over my eye splitting the eye brow erea . I'm not a fan of doctors or hospitals , but lean more to the alternative side of healing :) . I happen to be ,a little psychic . I was wondering what I should do to heal the cut over my eye , when I was inspired to get a tall staff , and a crystal with a deep root . I was guided to carve a hole in the end of the staff and place the crystal root into the end of the staff with the termination of the crystal pointing upwards from the staff . The staff had a v shape , at the base where it connected wth the ground . I was then guided to go into the forest , and find the spring I knew off , as the earth energy flows most strongly through this place through the spring water . A lay line , of earth energy :) . So I made the staff , and took it to the spring , and was guided to put the v shaped base of the staff into the earth at the spring , and to direct the current through the staff , and crystal that focuses the current into a beam or lazier like device , and use the force to heal my cut . Well , imagen my surprise when I drew the staff toward my cut ,a bit quick , and a strong spark come out of the staff and went up over and zapped me on top of my head . TRUE . :) Of course this made me jump back in surprise , and I then proceeded again with a slower manner and alittle more distance between the wound and the crystal . This time I could control it much better and proceeded to energitally sew the wound by moving the current which clearly tingled , back and forth across the wound . I share this Experence , to inspire folks to EXPEREMENT for themselfs . You can plug your own staff into a spring or lay line , and direct the force into any wound or area that needs healing . Your literally feeding life force , directly into the desired area , by doing this , and this heals you. The crystal condenses and focuses the force for your application :) the wooden staff is a conductor connecting the earth force, life energy , from the lay line to where you point the crystal . :) Sounds like the work of a magician , because it is . :) and it really does work ! Enjoy :) Magic Happens :)

Hi, great content by the way - but I was wondering since Aluminium surprisingly seemed to produce 1 full volt as compared to most of the other scrap metals -yielding less output and people toss out their old TV antennas - which are seemingly aluminium tubing - and one commenter below suggested that driving the metal deeper into the ground so that its nearly completely covered - increases the voltage dramatically - then getting hold of as many old discarded TV antennas as possible and using relatively long lengths of that wasted or discarded source of aluminum tubing might actually be worthwhile doing and wiring them in series over an entire backyard might produce a sizeable set up that could even be used for recharging car batteries and everyday household items and tools that use batteries - and all for free - as you could charge tools etc constantly and thus reduce electrical grid power consumption - a big consideration these days with ever increasing mains power costs to householders.

@@ThinkingandTinkering Suddenly an idea just hit me as well. Seeds might be activated by this voltage current. Hydroponics is like an electrolyte system and this might be a key component part of how plants grow at different rate based on voltage.
@@troule9t971 fascinating idea, often we think of moisture, temperature etc for germination triggers of certain seeds. But the moisture and temperature allowing voltage to trigger germination would be an interesting thing to test. If you could somehow place a seed into the proper temperature and moisture content and then somehow remove any electrical element and see if they fail to germinate then this hypothesis might be able to be proven. You could do a similar test with growth rate of a plant I would imagine, if you had two plants with the same environment but for one you tried to find a way to draw out all the current maybe thru this earth battery in the pot under load to use the energy and see if any growth differential occurs.
We had power from the soon to be defunct ESKOM over a SWER line, Single Wire Earth Return, granted it was an 11KV line, dropped to 220 volt through a transformer at our take off point. The line was 8km + long and we averaged 300 mm or so per year, there was a river flowing through our farm which might have been a factor, but these types of lines were and still are used supplying electricity over hundreds of kilometers in the country, so there is something about using the earth as a "conductor" Thank You Robert for all the fascinating videos
I want to power a pump for a small bird bath, thinking this may do the trick. Time to experiment! Thanks so much for putting all this info out into the world! Also, if anyone has tried powering motors and such using this idea, I’d love to hear about it.
Thanks for sharing this Robert. I hadn't seen a video on Earth Batteries before, So I'm really interested to experiment. Thanks for opening my eyes to something very interesting.
Yes thats a brilliant deduction. It has been found that the ancient Egyptians produced battery cells. Could be that certain pyramids were actually battery cells, fascinating.
RM-S is giving us modern adaptions of standing stones, menhirs and obelisks. they were the midway stations for the energy that the pyramids were pulling out from the ionosphere and from within the earth itself. We can utilize the magnetic field that surrounds the earth as an energy source. That is the concept behind Tesla's free energy machines. Magnetism is the key.
Great experiment! I wonder, too, if the pH of the soil being used might make a difference as well. The lemon / Potato batteries come to mind. Keep up the great work!
After seeing the voltage jump from copper against carbon to lead against carbon. I’d be very interested in seeing what the voltage of silver against carbon would be. Since silver has the highest thermo and electro conductivity of any metal.
Have you tested difference between different Ph soil? I noticed you sitting next to a tree. Pines are more acidic and its needles would make the soil around the tree more acidic and maybe give you a boost as compared to a more alkaline soil. Just a thought.
I was wondering the same thing. But I'm still going to try it. I have Carbon from "camp battery" and Magnesium from laptops.... also use a joule thief so the voltage is "better"

Great experiment Rob! I love how you spark curiosity in people, including my family. We are going to try this same experiment at some point with neodymium and copper (as well as some other rare earth metals and crystals[as we know quartz generates a frequency when under pressure]) to see if there is any correlation to Earth’s magnetic field. Probably some electromagnetic induction from the Iron magma flows under the crust as well. I've got experiments re: a couple ideas I wanna try out w/ your Mg/C arrangement. Stray leaking voltage from powerline much like a CT. This guys meter has a battery in it is is inducing voltage into the ground and measuring the difference is potential not any voltage other than from his meter.

Ugh! Powerline leakage is ac not dc that is being measured here. Also dc battery can not *induce* voltage into ground. Induction happens in the realms of ac. The voltage difference between the electrodes here is due to chemical energy..like in real batteries..! However it's not quite as aa cell.. :)

Fascinating. I think if you were anticipating microamps, then perhaps a 1K resistor might have been a smidge on the low side. Perhaps 1M to begin with? It's a pity that all "coking foil" is aluminium, be great to have access to a very cheap HUGE surface area that could be played around with. If there is any "non corrosion" based power generation, I am guessing two IDENTICAL electrodes should yield *something* - so perhaps there is merit in playing with a 10 metre roll of foil for about £1 :)
With the schools closed this is going to make a great experiment for my lad and I. I once arranged for a Well to be dug on Dartmoor, a man turned up with divining rods, found a source and two weeks later started boring. Found water. Always fascinated me. Maybe he tapped into some hidden electrical anomaly. I don't know but find the idea beguiling.
@@anonimouse4678 a person is a walking leaky battery. Put 2 bent steel rods in your hands ( I use a coat hanger to make it) and you become a meter. Look up science of dousing( probably spelled it wrong) but it gives you an idea the science about it. Any partical has north and south pole. Water moving underground carries material with it some materials are stronger with a pole arangement. Your rods will align with that flow direction because there is movement of a magnetic field.
Earth battery? It just simple galvanic cell, redox with an anode and cathode. It’s the basis of alkaline batteries and Cathodic protection. Look up the galvanic series chart there is a good one on corrosion pedia for the different materials voltages everyone. Your highest voltage difference will be between a magnesium -1.6V high purity anode and a carbon graphite +.2V cathode, it’s a 1.8v difference which is why you got 2V, only problem is that it will only work until the magnesium anode is spent. It is the electro-chemical process that causes corrosion. Yes, it also works better with a salt electrolyte otherwise a more conducive electrolyte in the soil around both electrodes. It doesn’t work when the soil is dry, it’s also why you don’t need to use Cathodic protection in frozen ground that never thaws, current just simply cannot flow in frozen ground. It is surface area of the anode and cathode and the material of both. You can increase that surface area by digging a deeper and wider hole, place the anode in the middle and backfill with coke breeze, just like a Cathodic protection technician would do. Oxidation reaction is the loss of electrons which can happen as rust (exposed to air) when metal loses electrons to oxygen in the air or to an anode in the ground in a galvanic cell. Electrons move through the electrical connection from the anode loosing electrons to the cathode making the cathode more negative. At the same time positive ions move towards the cathode in the electrolyte. Oxidation, anode, loss of electrons (becoming more positive) Reduction, cathode, gain of electrons (becoming more negative) The anode is sacrificed and chemically changes through oxidation and slowly disappears protecting the cathode by sacrificially giving it its electrons. Telluric currents would be difficult to use, they constantly change, are unpredictable, vary with the variations in the earth and even are effected by the sun. Also the current goes in to the earth in gradient shells, just like a ground rod or even lightning dissipating in voltage gradient shells into the earth. NACE International rocks, you can get a Corrosion Technician Certification through them. Cool stuff. Not free energy though. 🤣 Love your channel.
Really interesting: never heard of this. Showed it to my daughter (11) and suggested she could do a science project for school. If you can run a small electric motor off this you’ll get the kids hooked!
That would it take to light a small side of the driveway light? I live on a ranch and we use little solar lights along the driveway. It would be cool to replace them with earth powered lights. They don't have to be very strong, basically they are just used as a guide to the driveway.
That makes sense; mushrooms root system connects an entire garden and that would be pulling energy from the earth and feeds the other plants with energy. All living animals and plants are both biological and electrical with radiation. The problem with harvesting that energy; would it kill or weaken the plants? I know there is a method of planting fruit trees that suggest digging a large hole and putting stone into the ground and then lacing cooper wire into the soil with the tree. This has been found to increase the growth and health of the tree. This is all very interesting... and may come in handy to know in these times. Stay safe everyone and keep learning and keep sharing.
There is a theory that the pyramids in Egypt were actually electrical generators by usimg the different potentials of the different stones that were used for the layers. The reason for this is that it was assumed always that they were burial chambers because of the boxes, but no mummies were ever found in the pyramids. The orientation of the pyramids themselves and their relative positions to other pyramids in other parts of the world suggest some relationship that we currently do not understand and why is there a copper rope part way down one of the narrow shafts of the pyramid in Giza? There are too many questions that suggest the purpose of the pyramids were not burial chambers. Currently the theory about pyramids being generators has been discounted by scientists, but is that because our knowledge is limited and not advanced enough? Just because we currently do not understand something does not mean it is not a possibility.
Tesla, Henry Moray and Nathan Stubblefield did the most in this area. Tesla and Nathan Stubblefield were friends. Nathan Stubblefield used his knowledge with telegraph lines in this experimentation, and when he died, the men that went to go deal with his corpse found the house warmed and lit by some unknown source.
We''re going back to a lot of this old technology as limitations on what we have now are showing themselves. I read that nickel-iron batteries are being looked at again. I'd like to try making one or ask Mr. Murray-Smith to run a video on that.
I had read an article years ago about telegraph lines that were generating their own power, enough power that workers had received a good shock even though the power supply was off. The explanation was that it was similar to a river. The river being the electricity wanted to get from point a to point b to achieve equilibrium, but had to follow a tortuous winding path. The telegraph line produced a straight line, like a canal that allowed a less restrictive path. Interestingly when these telegraph lines fell out of favor and had been cut for some period of time the effect was gone. As though the potential had found a different path. There were other examples of this phenomenon. I chalked it all up to an internet story like the 200mpg carburetor. Maybe there was more to it?
I have just a very basic understanding of electricity when I ask this question of you, but would it be possible to take the current and connect it to a capacitor to build up a charge, then when the capacitor discharges, run the discharge through a voltage regulator to charge a battery?
This was really interesting. Stainless steel and carbon seem to be the best options due to longevity. Plug 1000 of each into the earth and you should get yourself a generator :)
Nathaniel Stubbelfield who lived near Murray Kentucky had earth batteries in the ground in a hill he lived in and I Believe he had a patent on them. He lit his cabin and the hillside with carbon arc lights running off of them! Looked like daylight people said! I believe Murray State college still has the library collection on him and they will send you a packet of information at least at one time they would for free contact them about the Nathaniel Stubblefield collection. He also had a telephone with rods on it he could stick the rods in the ground his son could go clear across the town and stick the rods on his in the ground and they could talk to each other back and forth. He was a brilliant man but died in his shack on the hill pretty much penniless he got swindled out of his inventions!
If it's some kind of telluric current like you suggest in the beginning then why do you need electrodes made of different materials? Surely a current would just flow through even if the electrodes are the same material. The simplest answer is that the Earth battery is determined pretty much completely by the materials used through galvanic action. If you did see a voltage and used the same materials you would then need to rule out 60Hz line interaction and even waves produced by RF antennas both producing space waves and ground waves.
I am a 74 year old student of Tesla . So if you study his works you will find that he was able to light up a forested hillside with Carbon ark lamps. ( Which use voltage and current) Now I wonder how he did this? So Earth Batteries are worth experimenting with. Think vibrations ( everything is vibrating)!!!! ( Different potentials). Experiments are good. Regards.... DC
Rob, Have you tried the possibility of running a copper rod or wire 50 ft into the air down to the earth ground and checking the electrical potential between the two?
I'm with you on this suggestion. Lighting arresting systems function to capture (on a sharp point where electrons like to accumulate) and drain charge to ground to prevent a significant charge accumulation. I believe the atmosphere to hold an incalculable amount of charge that results in hundreds of arcs a day (electricity doesn't want to arc, it wants an easy path but with enough accumulation, it will arc). Your idea would certainly drain the ground, or the atmosphere, on a continuous basis just like a building does. We have to figure out how to mete that charge for a continuous stream into a capacitor and then into a battery.
Just a query: You mentioned that the annode and cathode positioning might be different from Northern hemisphere as opposed to the Southern. Wouldn't it be the same, being that the energy flows from the north pole to the south pole? Like the earth being one large magnet? Or does it flow from pole to equator? Just trying to put this together in my head. Thanks, great vid!
I have seen a video albeit controversial where large rods and also a radiator like structure were buried in the ground, water then added, and a large amount of current was produced.
My father told me that they used earth rods to power they're hand help walkie talkies in world war II & that they had maps showing where to use this in various areas across Europe.
OMG...I just stumbled across and subscribed to your channel the other day. I absolutely love to be challenged and to learn. Your a breath of fresh air in a... Corroding World... Your a Positive ...not Negative Current of Change...Haha, see what I did there? Thanks for another enjoyable video 😊
I just read a book called " the electrocution of america" recently. It is about Alternating current from the utility returning from the load back to the transformer or substation directly through wet soil rather than through the "neutral" return wire. (causing health problems in cattle and people) Supposedly it is too common in the usa, because of how the system was designed. I mention it because wet soil is definitely conductive to current, and does not imply corrosion at all. My guess is the earth battery effect is probably the movement of conductive materials in wet soil, within the earths magnetic field. faradays law
One of my science fair entries as a kid was a battery from plates of copper and zinc with horse manure in between. Put out several volts and would light a small bulb. Thought about scaling up in our septic tank but copper plates that size very expensive.
hey Robert, this channel has been one of my favorites the last couple months cuz it's just fascinating the experiments you do and this one is very interesting I'll have to look into it myself. Great video what it would be like to spend a week with you doing some of these experiments maybe an awesome thing. But I'm in the states👍😀🇺🇸
Always interesting Robert! But it seems like the matter could be settled by putting some of that earth in a flower pot away from the ground and seeing if you still get a current? You could actively change orientation as well. Am I missing something?
What would happen to the voltage if you used a pair of large 20m long and 2m wide electrodes of what ever the best conductor is. Do you think the voltage would jump substantially with using them in series etc. Cheers for the content
Years ago - Radio host Art Bell (Doesn't everyone know him?) - put up a 160 meter antenna around his acreage. A long wire horizontal loop if you will.. His call by the way was W6OBB. He was quite shocked - literally - when he discovered his disconnected antenna arcing. He said on air it was around 300 volts. I wonder if any reliable source would be available if he put that though a rectifier??
Love your generosity of knowledge & appreciate you taking your time to testing the methods out. I do hope your video saves some un expecting individual from a Frigate winter or a family to have lights. You have a fascinating channel. I've always wondered if some of the expensive elements used for vanity would be useful in applications like this and battery chemistry. Gold, silver, platinum, etc. This also makes me think of Kelvin water drop electrostatic generators. Natures hidden physics are so powerful. Keep up the good work, thank you.
Always fascinating. Never heard of Earth batteries before. I wonder if you would get a much higher differential at one of the magnetic polls. Maybe even just a air anode and ground cathode since that's where we would find the highest concentrations of magnetic field lines.
I like that idea mate - I don't think it has ever been tried - have a look at the patent database starting 1890ish - quite a few applications to mull over there
@@ThinkingandTinkering its strange how in a western christian society we have created a patent office that can remove the creativity of man by saying 'he did it first and they own your god given right to do it second' which in the case of the 1800's means the creativity of the living is removed by the dead [just thinking out allowed, no need to shout] :-)
@Justin , I have not taken readings, though, radiance varies with the seasonal, changing bodies; solstices, fullmoons, period of sunlight, angle of light.Old methods that repelled insects, parasites, disease, invasive plants, animals, yet encouraged healthy growth of the tree or subject.I am not on that land presently, but will take some readings when I return later this year.
I propose an efficient use for this type of battery may be in parallel with another generator, like a micro wind turbine: the voltage from the Earth battery keeps the diodes open in your rectifier, increasing usable power, even in low wind conditions? I wish to try it. My hypothesis: The Earth battery works similarly to the rain fuel generator; Different regions of moisture and charge within the soil act as the singular rain drop does. Prediction: different coating(s) of the electrodes in conductive ink (or similar) and/or polyurethane (or similar) will increase power. I want to experiment with various large surface area aluminum foil anodes on the south side of a freestanding plastic (electrically isolated) garden box and graphite rod cathodes on the north. Add two or three Daisy wind generators, and I might have a trickle (or better) 12v battery charger. This UA-cam channel rocks!
This is amazing. Do they teach this stuff in school? I don't remember learning about this at all. Gotta try this for sure. I have all kinda useful ideas for this. For one, if you go camping, you could definitely power up some LEDs around the camp area. There are a lot of pine trees where we camp so the soil is very acidic. Can't wait to work on this. Thanks!!!
Not in my school, instead we had to memorize dates and names of things that mostly were to just pass tests, to pass classes, to ultimately graduate. I've learned so much more since I've been out of school, and I love learning new things! The best learning and retaining what you learn, to therefore be able to use what you've learned, comes from our own interest and curiosity, don't you think?
@@poppylove3673 you sound very interesting/intelligent. I wish I knew people like you. I have similar viewpoint, but spend all my time being alone and learning and working on stuff.
I think you may have missed the natural solar power being produced by the leaves... :) LOL great response!

Yes, I totally agree. Easy to watch and great information. Thank you sir.

To set the mind FREE! NO MORE DUMBING DOWN THINKING ABOUT BILLS PUSH THE MIND TO SEE MORE.
I agree mate - the main point here is to have fun
One way could be to use an isolated but conductive soil filled container with a controlled water saturation level, place it in a dug hole in various places and back fill the hole, then test the differences between each location, if indeed any. And also turn the container 90degrees in each hole.

TRUE . :)
Of course this made me jump back in surprise , and I then proceeded again with a slower manner and alittle more distance between the wound and the crystal .
Sounds like the work of a magician , because it is . :) and it really does work ! Enjoy :)
Magic Happens :)
it is always good to share mate and yes you are quite right folks should experiment for themselves

Great experiment! I wonder, too, if the pH of the soil being used might make a difference as well. The lemon / Potato batteries come to mind.
Keep up the great work!
it does and when the soil runs out of electrolytes, it needs to be replaced with fresh soil to get the battery running again.
After seeing the voltage jump from copper against carbon to lead against carbon. I’d be very interested in seeing what the voltage of silver against carbon would be. Since silver has the highest thermo and electro conductivity of any metal.
Great comment.

What about taping into a leyline?Could the energy be converted into a electronic charge?
Can't really see what your doing because of the distance and background. I'm a layman so need to see.
Thank you for your spark! 😊
Is there a list anywhere that shows what the frequency is of all the elements in the periodic table?

Thank you for doing these videos. I've been eyeballing earth batteries for years. Planning on running them in series along the property fencing perimeter. I really like your Magnesium/Carbon combo. Personally, I've always believed these work due to the ongoing electrical charge the earth itself acquires via exposure to solar ionization. Probably some electromagnetic induction from the Iron magma flows under the crust as well. I've got experiments re: a couple ideas I wanna try out w/ your Mg/C arrangement. Geometry of the cathode/anode for maximum surface area being one.

Oxidation, anode, loss of electrons (becoming more positive)
Reduction, cathode, gain of electrons (becoming more negative)
The anode is sacrificed and chemically changes through oxidation and slowly disappears protecting the cathode by sacrificially giving it its electrons.
Love your channel.

Is this what DR. STEVEN M. GREER IS TALKING ABOUT ?
IS THIS WHAT TELSA WAS WORKING ON 100 YEARS AGO ÷ OR - ?
Thank you for another fantastic upload, earth batteries have fascinated me for a long time, this has re-sparked my interest...

We''re going back to a lot of this old technology as limitations on what we have now are showing themselves. I read that nickel-iron batteries are being looked at again. I'd like to try making one or ask Mr. Murray-Smith to run a video on that.
Great idea now go back much, much further in history
Salt water batteries. Or the Baghdad battery.
Mud batteries, this makes me want to try a composting trench going north-south and see if I can get two effects synergizing.

@@ThinkingandTinkering No problem open source all the way.
Great idea, compost is underrated.
Maybe there was more to it?
it's 100% Galvanic, and it is a battery...use a 55 gal drum full of salt water and just replace the metals as needed
Great video. I too am always interested in energy from different sources.
cool - you have vids?
I have just a very basic understanding of electricity when I ask this question of you, but would it be possible to take the current and connect it to a capacitor to build up a charge, then when the capacitor discharges, run the discharge through a voltage regulator to charge a battery?
This was really interesting. Stainless steel and carbon seem to be the best options due to longevity. Plug 1000 of each into the earth and you should get yourself a generator :)
But can it run an electric chair?

( Which use voltage and current)
Now I wonder how he did this?
So Earth Batteries are worth experimenting with. Think vibrations ( everything is vibrating)!!!! ( Different potentials).
Experiments are good.
Regards.... DC
Rob,
Have you tried the possibility of running a copper rod or wire 50 ft into the air down to the earth ground and checking the electrical potential between the two?
The voltage increases 100v every meter in elevation
@@dennispickard7743 if this can be reproduced, which density of copper are you using?
Just a query: You mentioned that the annode and cathode positioning might be different from Northern hemisphere as opposed to the Southern. Wouldn't it be the same, being that the energy flows from the north pole to the south pole? Like the earth being one large magnet? Or does it flow from pole to equator? Just trying to put this together in my head. Thanks, great vid!
Good point. The poles being opposites in many situations, I think , caused an error by applying a general rule to a specific situation.
I have seen a video albeit controversial where large rods and also a radiator like structure were buried in the ground, water then added, and a large amount of current was produced.
