- I met the Heath Brothers prior to this recording in Oslo, as they played at the Club Seven in Oslo. They were very exited to be recorded by the legend engineer, Jan Eric Kongshaug. It was an electrifying evening.

The impact this song put in the building of Hip Hop is unmeasurable. The sample at 06:03 to 06:24 is priceless.

Respect due. I'm an aficionado of sorts but wasn't aware of that fact...✊

The whole piece is vintage Heaths.
Nice
Dang, such a beauty is going to get removed because you monetized it! Remove the ads so this beauty can stay online. I've seen it happen to countless vids over the years. The only ones that get to stay are non-monetized
Total fucking BLISS !!!
Plays the strings inside the piano. Stanley? You 2 cold.
❤️❤️❤️
Does the Smilin Billy stand for Billy Higgins?? Anyone knows ??
Yes It Does! Billy Passed A While Back(RIP)! Apparently The Were Good Friends! I like Him From His Playing With The Late Great Lee Morgan(RIP) On His Lp Entitled "Caramba"! I Think This Was Their Tribute To His Apparent Good Nature.
Now I know where everything come from
where can I download/purchase this??????
yves amani to my knowledge, it's unattainable.
Just download this on flvto. Its what I’ve done
It is from The Heath Brothers 1975 album "Marchin' On". CD's are available on discogs dot com or Amazon. On discogs check out the 1995 Japan release for $37.97... others are much more expensive. There's no difference sound quality, just different licensing.
