Always loved Techno Viper.. But he was never a Troop Builder for me, lol. Like you his code name for me was Techno Viper and he was a specialist. I get he is a troop builder but for me, there's only one lol. He also always reminded me of a Cylon from BSG
I still have my 1987 Cobra Techno Viper. He came with two hose's, one to attach to the gun and one to attach to the accessories. The classified series is being cheap again, but only giving us one hose to use for everything. 😕
Hello there. Nice review. I really love this figure, he came for.my bday 😇 with Rocky BigBoa. I had him in the late 80s also and always enjoyed. He was kinda futuristic and you could imagine him as an engineer or a blaster trooper (Sci-fi style). I think some people underestimate this character because of the tools instead of weapons or the colors, who knows. But it's a great figure and it's been updated nice. Yes, 2 tubes would've been really nice as his backpack has 2 pegs 🤷🏽♀️ as the original. The laser panel for the wrist is a great add. Oh and the HMS version looks great with the hiss color scheme 🤘 Regards from Spain.
Just got mine today and I’m loving him. And yes extra hose would be nice. And he can’t hold his rifle good his thick wrists kinda make it look odd. But all in all great figure. Thanks man!
Saw this in the store today and bought 3 for a little squad builder think these guys would look sick fitting hydra or sheid agents for photography or stop motion
I ordered him last Friday so he should be arriving with big boa sometime this week coming. I may order one more of him in time for the sake of just having 2 but yeah I think he looks good✨🙌
Just got one yesterday. I'll end up getting another (for army builders that aren't "basic troops" (aka Infantry or Vipers), like Alley Viper or BATs, I only get 2) at some point but I'm not exactly in a hurry
Never my favorite despite liking the purple. As a kid i think it was a weird radar or sonic weapon. Also agree on the hoses. Never used them as a kid because people look goofy with just a dangling back hose.

Its a cool figure that makes no sense. What's he tech'ing? The arm hologram makes sense but big wrenches and what looks like a flamethrower just doesn't make sense to me. Although maybe not as cool. This figure should should have been a guy in a suit with a back pack that turned into several types of keyboards, drones and such.
This figures accessories were weird for me a caliper, soldering iron, a tool for running fiber optics, maybe a spray interchangeable system for adhesives or sealants? Some make sense but not exactly a battle field threat.
