Hi John, i had a fish yesterday down in the Pimpama Rv, i was looking for whiting and caught a few but nothing of any size, but plenty of by catch bream, small flathead and so on. i will try a different area keep looking around , nice to see found a couple of nice ones, back to the Nerang soon. Cheers Chris
Well done John, a nice change to the video mate , the motor is running better and that was a good run for it as well PS, sending an email through. Cheers mate like the change.
Hi Chris, Yep, good to get on the water again. If the conditions are better I am sure I will catch more whiting in the northern arm of the Coomera. Where I fish always seem to have larger whiting than the south arm.
@@johnthefishingman We use the blood worms that are similar but not as good. They cost a fortune but when they turn into 35+cm whiting, the money spent is quickly forgotten.
Another great watch.

Which bait do you use for whiting?
Hi, I only use Cribb Island blood worms.
A shame about the weed John. Unfortunately it’s something that bugs us every spring. We’re you using blood worms again?
Hey JH,
Yep, Cribb Island worms - I only use these when fishing for whiting in the Coomera or Nerang rivers.
