I figured it out, it was William Schallert, from lots of shows including father on The Patty Duke Show! I rule, that is his wonderful voice. William in now 92 years old. God Bless you!!
Let's Make a Deal on ABC Primetime... This is a real gem! There's only one video of this version on YT, and is the premiere episode, showed on BUZZR during the first Lost n' Found week. I really wanted to lived in 1969 to saw all the daytime and nighttime episodes!
General Hospital, One Life to Live and Dark Shadows... that would be a fun after school lineup. But it's funny that they say, "We're already Number Two" when there were only 3 networks!!
My Daddy Enjoyed Land Of The Giants Along With Dark Shadows Along With The Invaders And The Time Tunnel, Along With Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea Along With Kolchack The Night Stalker In The ABC Category!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot about the networks and their movie schedule. Just noticed that you could see a movie everynight of the week between the 3 networks. Ahh, yes. The days before HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC, and the rest. Yeah, the network run films were edited for content and to run in the allotted 2 hour slot, but you didn't have to pay a service to see them.
My dad was the one who started watching "Love, American Style" and got us into watching it. It was always good for a laugh. Now, the rest of the shows, "Bewitched", "That Girl", "Here Come The Brides", "It Takes A Thief", "Mod Squad", and whatever else, were avoided. We, as a family, could not stand Marlo Thomas. And "Bewitched" was juvenile, even to me, and I was 14.

And getting LET'S MAKE A DEAL away from NBC moved them into that slot single-handed.
Indeed. Joey may have had the "Last Word" in the Promo, but Johnny Carson--as always--got the Last Laugh.
Who was the voice of these promos....I'm trying to think, hmmmm he was THE voice of TV and Commercials of that time. Great reassuring nice voice....

My gosh! In 1969 with all these high quality effects: and here in Brazil barely existed intros on Tupi TV (closed in 1980), Globo TV and Record TV.

By the time we met in September, Dick Cavett had replaced Joey Bishop....
No. Cavett was doing a summer fill-in show in prime time. He replaced Bishop in December.
Music composed and conducted by Patrick Williams.
