W👀W, that beautiful Cypress topiary is gorgeous! I've decided to prune one of my hydrangeas shrubs into a tree form (standard) this year. Kaleb, I wish I could find an evergreen that is already pruned and trained, like the one you just planted, at a reasonable price. It seems that the prices, and availability of quality shrubs and trees, have skyrocketed in the past few years. I'm looking forward to your next garden-related video. Caleb said in a previous video that his soil is rich and doesn’t need to be amended. He said that if your soil isn’t as good, then definitely amend it by 50% with compost.

Would you need to add some starter fertilizer to the hole? I don’t see you do that step or is Iowa soil just awesome dirt!
I would've but Caleb doesn't seem to use much fertilizer and his stuff looks great, so probably a personal preference.
