Low master feels easier to climb that high D. I went back to sf6 after 1 month without playing and 2-0 my opponents. Very big diff between 1400 and 1700 mr

@@toratalks this is not true. With hitbox you lose access to certain backwalk dps and you have to cross cut them which is huge at high level. It is more of a tradeoff between stick and hitbox, though pad just might be the best way to play, but not by much.

@Mrx1377 personally, I'm on PC and played about 40 hours on a PS5 controller on Modern. I then bought a cheap $35 leverless controller and decided to learn Classic controls. I have about 100 hours on the leverless. Which one you should choose really depends on what feels more natural to you. I knew how prone I was to constantly jumping if I were to ever get a regular joystick so opted for the leverless. MenaRD and Punk use regular gamepads so don't ever think you'll be at a disadvantage using a ps5 controller.

In my opinion, SF6 has the potential to be the best Street Fighter yet, but needs a few tweaks to the mechanics they introduced into this entry to get it there, before we start talking about the individual character buffs/nerfs: - 1. Swap the Drive Rush gauge spends around, so:- Neutral Drive Rush should cost 2.5 bars per use. Hit confirm Drive Rush to cost less at 1.5 bars per use This will discourage neutral skipping and go back to earning hit confirms tactically and open up more combo creativity by allowing them to be extended. This will pace the matches more sensibly and allow explosiveness when a player finally does get in, much like SF4. 2. Drive Impact should be restricted to your super bar instead of the Drive Gauge bar and be called something else (like Super Counter or something to that effect) That way, it will stop players spamming the mechanic randomly 3 or 4 times per round (which is just ridiculous) and have them needing to think about gambling with its use to get them out of trouble or simply steal a round, rather than using a Lvl 2 super or higher. The cost should be 1 full bar of super (minimum of Lv1 needed to use). 3. Perfect Parry is useless in this game due to the damage scaling that follows, so the risk of having to time that perfectly is not rewarded at all, you're actually penalised for using it! The damage scaling should be left at default and there should just be an instant drive gauge reward of 1.5 bars for using it. That would give people an incentive to actually gamble with the thing, as it's very difficult to time. 4. Normal Parries have too much recovery, you can barely punish after using it because your character is planted, which defeats the entire object. Recovery needs to be reduced right down to something like 5 frames so you can actually punish right after successfully executing it. The move should also be a button release move rather than button held, I don't think parries were ever intended to be used like this, it's just another bona fide block button right now, like MK. 5. Blocking needs a touch more pushback, a bit like you see when you hold parry down. 6. Throw loops need to be removed, nobody wants to see that ish in any context. Voila, you would have a sensible Street Fighter game after these changes and the character tiers will start to rearrange themselves to make alot more sense, because right now, they are nowhere near where canon says they should be and it's because the game's system is skewing everything. Zangief, for example, should never have a Drive Rush, that concept is insane.

JP would also be buffed, as it would be harder to get in on him, so he is looking like the only character that would need to be toned down, because his zoning would be impossible to combat without neutral drive rush. There again, he is stupidly overpowered from a zoning point of view, so would probably need some fine tuning. Do nothing and I just think the game is too one touch of death to be classed as a SF game.
I don't understand the argument when it comes to DI the move is 33 frame startup to hit and is not invincible and you can't cancel it into other stuff, people idealize sf4 wich was a great game but you had an invincible move that crumbled and also could be dashed cancel for combo extensions and mindgames, and perfect parry is useful but not for damage but for getting yourself into useful positions (meaty setups, corner pressure, etc) wich is a great reward and stops people on their track if you pull it off so yeah, I feel like your arguments are valid as an opinion but not as a fact, sf6 is very similar to third strike imo.
