What I love most about Final Destination 1 from the rest of the movies in the franchise was that during parts of the movie you can actually "see" death. I thought that was pretty cool they chose to incorporate that in.
What’s interesting about the Final Destination films is there isn’t even a physical antagonist who kills the characters in the likes of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers or Pinhead. Yeah, I've had a similar fear ever since! I tend to try to look for stairs or an elevator when I'm at my local mall because of that freaking scene and the foreshadowing scene right beforehand. And yet I still end up on an escalator with loose shoelaces once in awhile.. Hhh.
Bro me too! As a kid this traumatized me but later I realized that’s not how an escalator works since they have different mechanics and systems than the one shown in the movie.
