only bad players and adhd 1500 warlocks thinks its a good toolkit in reality you are getting knocked around like a ball on a football field and every other melee has a better toolkit not to mention nowadays everyone has a mortal strike so RIP Warriors tbh blizzard just hates them with a passion for some reason
2v2 is very specific cause you have 1 healer and 1 dps most of the time and if both DPS go healers well the healer will just AFK around a pillar, it's not just warrior that has this problem it's probably like half of the classes.
3v3 and solo shuffle are a totally different story cause you cant just run around a pillar like that anymore and getting away from a warrior with freedom on him or a fistmonk + warrior is just impossible, the warrior is almost 24/7 on you. Also if you are a caster doing that you are dealing 0 DMG.
He could have just gone warrior and force the shaman to come to him and swap, he didnt have to run around a pillar for 5mins lol.
This has been my entire experience to 1900 so far in 2v2. Think arms needs longer arms so we can smack through pillars lol

Hey man, would u prefer a haste heavy Arms build or more stacked mastery? Have u tried out a more crit based build? have some crit pieces atm and don´t know what stat to focus or jsut even all out. Even the versatility is kinda high. The new 40% are the old 30%? Would really apreciate your thougts, thanks alot =)
I’m duelist with arms atm. I pref like 7k ish versatility because more than that you lose stat efficiency from diminishing returns, then the rest of stats somewhat split with main focus on haste

i want to get into pvp, but honestly, the pillar-hugging was the biggest turn-off in WoD, and preciously little has changed since then.
A lot has changed, there is a lot of micro cc in the game. What you are seeing is shaman goofiness and that's all lol.
pillar hugging is literally what you are supposed to do lol.. if you just sit in the middle when someone has pressure on you, you just die, so not going to the pillar is a misplay, but in this case its just cringe game design the shaman should never be able to infinitely kite around the pillar

This game is dominated by melee classes pressing W key, we need pillars to survive... maybe you havent noticed but the moment he connected the Shamans health just dropped.

Couldn't your druid cyclone the warrior and try to get off a root on the shaman for you or does he need those to kite the other warrior?
Blizz will add a 3rd charge CD to warrior, and another several stuns/roots to the other classes to compensate. Every class has everything in some capacity in wow now. It's so bloated with abilities, class identity is just the "name" of your cc/dmg abilities. Because everyone has them. Some slightly different/stronger/weaker. But every class has SOMETHING, tbh several outs. Gone are the days of relying on your teammates, and playing accordingly. New age of zero coms, so give everyone every button. Warrior suffers the most from this. Warrior identity used to be "oh fuck, don't stand anywhere near this guy, or let him stand anywhere near your squishy teammates." Now it's "lol, just cc/pillar him" regardless of class. People hate working together, complain on the forums, thus overtime, blizz has made every class self reliant, which hurts warriors the most. You have less reliable uptime/pressure on anyone with a brain, compared to any other class in the game. Warriors closing a gap is meaningless now a days. The enemy will have several ways to kite/slow/knockback/stun, AND defensives at the ready for when you DO close the gap. Then if their team isn't braindead and assists with peel, it will be a miserable for the warrior. The whole game is tracking CD's for 10+ minutes and hoping for some lucky time when they don't have a single button to press out of the 30 buttons they normally have.
Almost 0 spec Identity either, all shaman specs seem to have the same Cc available to them in the shaman tree or pvp talents instead of the spec tree.

@@WelsyCZ There's too much shit in the game and that extends outside of pvp. They need to redo WoW, give all classes 10-12 abilities max, and slow the game the down. It's doing "fine" in it's current iteration, but the only people saying that are players who survived through 10-15 years of bad development and are mainly veteran players chugging along. The average age of a WoW player is almost 30 lol The game in it's current iteration is way too complex of a game to draw new players and is shaping up to die a slow death. It's not sustainable.
War Within should be the last set of expansion for the game as we know it. It needs a brand new IP.

The subscription numbers are highest in years, clearly the game is doing good. PvP is struggling but thats not the whole game.

The sub numbers are up because Dragonflight isn't a bad expansion among expansions released in the last 10-15 years. That doesn't mean problems don't exist. The inability for wow to draw new players and an aging playerbase directly demonstrate that. WoW IS a complex unapproachable game to people who have no experience with it. If you can't see that that doesn't make me unreasonable, that makes you delusional.
@@IamMaximumFury Changing wow to a game with 10 buttons completely changes the game. This take about the game having 10-15 buttons was disproved by quite a few players/streamers, because it simply wouldnt work with the current gamemodes.
Balance was always made considering 3v3. Therefore, "state of -anything-" on 2v2 is not to be considered

Everyone in the comments.
1. It's a 2v2, not a 1v1 1v1, this is happening for many reasons. The Rdrood can get a restealth, forcing the Fury warrior to attack Baj, the druid can then open with a Back clone on the enemy healer, or Bash the enemy healer for Baj to kill, and root the warrior off him. I force the enemy Dps to leave my pillar because he can't touch me all the time, unless he's a Dh.. I'm sure Baj is aware of this.
2. Healers aren't "Too Strong" with all the damage and micro cc in the game, if it wasn't for Precog, it would be impossible to heal in general. Dampening is also a thing for a reason.
3. Healers DO use mana. Some classes retain better than others, these people are also drinking and getting micro drinks whenever possible.
4. Removing healers from 2s is the dumbest idea ever.
5. Removing pillars from 2s is the second dumbest idea ever.
Baj isn't advocating for any of this, It's just a perfect shot and funny video highlighting the epitome of 2s. Some of you DPS players think you should just be able to run me down in a 4x4 open map and Mortal Strike my face for free, while all my abilities cost 25% of my mana and heal for 0.

Sup guys warrior player here, I’m actually just never going to swap targets. I’m also not going to stop drop combat and mount, nor will I press leap + charge. In fact I think I’ll run in a circle doing nothing while complaining endlessly about it.

Tell you what, go through this video, and every time a healer reaches 50% mana, I'll give you $50 sound good? It really doesn't matter as much in PVP because the mana regen is too high while spell costs really aren't that high, made even worse by the fact that just about every healing class has some kind of ability to speed around pillars and just kite in 2s.

@@blindfire3167 I have 8 Holy Paladins. In 3s one of us going OOM is a thing, I'm getting drinks constantly when I can. I alot of the time I don't go OOM, is because I'm drinking to make sure of it. Same as 2s. Demo locks are popular right now and they just play an annoying dampen comp, they also nerfed my classes mana usage and regen like 4 times in the past 3 patches.
The problem is you don't see Hpallies, you see Rdroods, who all play Nelf and get free Shadowmeld drinks. Rsham uses like 0 mana, and same for dragons. Disc and Hpally aren't huge right now so the mana fight is extended when you're playing with classes that retain mana better. Healers drink though.

Shaman and Druid players have always been losers. It’s funny because those two classes 100% cry more than any other class even though they’re perma 80% move speed and flying around untouchable haha. Not to mention Moonkin having like 300% armor for no reason.
Wondering when Baj will swap to put out more dam with consistent cc.. but these are pro players 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

To be fair it’s not only warriors that have trouble chasing shamans and druids around pillars.
In fact as a shadow priest I have to pray they get overconfident and let me cc them out of the pillar
I'll just throw it out there again (just my opinion), but healers and tanks shouldn't be in 2s. It makes games completely unfun and ridiculous since you don't even get gladiator rewards from it. DPS needs a pure dps play mode without the ridiculous stuff like this, where mobility and survivability just clown certain classes. Nothing about this type of gameplay is fun, nor is it interesting to watch. Just give dps a pure dps ladder without glad rewards if nothing else. Let chaos reign already.

It is in a good spot ATM and devs are actively listening to player feedback. Why didn't you just use heroic leap to leap behind the pillar, then use Charge to get to him?
After like 5 seconds of him pillar circling, you'd think you'd have just done that instead of wasting time circling.
Depending on the rating, he probably figured that he would Earthbind totem as he leaped. I think just he was just highlighting the comedy of the situation before mounting to him which is much easier than use all your mobility just to be denied anyhow.

Not a fan of 2s meta with healers, they're strong in general, wish 2s was just dps only though. But they will never limit roles, but healer can be quite strong.

If yal think its bad in arenas go do rbgs or just normal random bgs and blitz. You dam near can't play the game due to all the multiple ccs and stuns that is used on you. Instead of fixing this problem blizzard instead just gives more ccs and stuns........Game has become a cc/stun game instead of knowing when to use your stuns and ccs and when not to use them.
I only get spam cc'd by decent/good teams. Most the time it's not that bad as a healer. I'm just talking about Clone spams. I know if you're in melee, you're just going to get hit with Chaos Nova, Capacitor Totem, Displacement that wasn't even meant for you, into an Aoe fear lol
