Had a Rossi rep come into our shop last week and I tried these out and absolutely loved them. Usually don’t love their skis so was very surprised. So good for steep bowls.
I’m really glad you’re reviewing more skis, because I trust your opinion. I have similar opinions on all of the skis you’ve reviewed that I’ve also skied, so I’m more interested in your content than your production. That said, I like that you’re moving past the ‘swing-set’ to frame your videos. But there were so many jump cuts in this that it felt like i was watching “Max Headroom.’ Maybe it was my connection, but you’re at your best when it feels like it’s just a conversation about skis that we could have had on the lift. Don’t over-produce it. (Just my opinion.)
Totally, it's also a pain to edit! Unfortunately 3 of my neighbors have dogs and so when they start barking I edit it out, sometimes you'll even see large time lapses in the lighting just bc I had to wait for the dogs to stop lol.
I can appreciate that ‘life happens.’ And I can certainly appreciate that with dogs. Perhaps include a mention of that if things get difficult in a review. Those personal moments work in this format. I enjoy your approach. Keep doing what you’re doing!@@RicketySkiReviews
It’s over 70 degrees where I am today and I’m afraid my day of skiing Sunday was my last of the season (unless we do another trip). While I’m happy to go mountain biking after work today, I’m starting to grieve my ski season. 😭😭😭
Have a pair myself. They do really Well at charging hard down steep technical offpistes. Found great balance, and always felt connected. Also a surprisingly good carver for 110. (coming from a guy that also skis a 67 race ski and is able to have my butt touch the slope in a carve)
When this was released I was stoked. I almost bought a 106ti but wanted more float and quickness in a very reliable ski. Then I checked the mount point and lost my enthusiasm. Too far forward for deep pow for a traditional skier. I have a rustler 11 and it forced me to ski centered in deeper snow and not attack and it 2cm or more back from the rearwars recommendation on the sender. Elliot or someone else who has em be good to hear your experiences in case I am wrong bit I have ZERO desire to lean back in pow at 110 underfoot ski. Great reviews keep it up!!
Excellent review. Thanks!! I demoed this ski and loved it--seriously considering getting a pair. I'm trying to decide between 178 & 184. You demoed the 184--but it would be helpful to know your height & weight. I know you've probably answered this before somewhere but I recently subscribed and haven't heard it. THANKS!!
I own the 110 in 184. I’m 183 and 95 kg. Almost went the longer length but in the end went with the 184 as never felt like it skied short. Also own the 94ti and weirdly liked that one more in a 186 Vs the 179. Cheers nick.
Always enjoy your reviews, as you had a lot of them done this winter would be nice to see a colaboration of all them with all your scoring. Now i got a question, currently ski on a Kendo and have a Völkl 98 for powdery days, probably similar ski background as you but at least 20 years older, my next ski to buy would be just a "one daily driver". I'm skiing 60/40 groomed to off piste. From reviews a gatger head kore 93 or atomic maverick 100 should be the choices anything that would be better in your mind? My favorite all time ski was RTM-V-Werks from 2016/17.
Have you demoed a ski that's between the Rossi Sender 110 and the Bent 110 in stiffness? The Sender 110 interested me a lot but I still want to navigate trees. I'm not sure I would enjoy the Bents as much. Thanks!
hmmm --- I said this about another ski -- it's almost as if Rossignol designed a ski for use in the French Alps -- wide open above tree-line bowls and glaciers instead of below tree-line off-piste.

Thanks to you the viewer! Without you I couldn't review these skis.
Peace and Love

Agreed, I was really surprised as well, I think this one in particular is pretty special.
Love your comment regarding getting on the downhill ski and preloading to drive it.
Thanks!
Keep em coming ~ enjoy your stuff
Thanks, will do!
Skiing with your beer like Hot Dog Hans! Love it
I just don't know about that Hans character, when he got on a snow bored, I had to shake my head.
tbf it was a redbull lol

Please keep doing what you’re doing, but don’t be afraid to be yourself, that’s part of what works for you.👍

Great review, very interested in this ski.

Thanks!

I ordered them today. Im so hyped
Do you have a review on the Sender Soul 102?
Wonder if they’re going to make the updated 118 in a 192???

THANKS! @@RicketySkiReviews I watched your episode about ski length and that was super helpful (and in it you mentioned your height / weight!)
@@nzheliking1278 Thanks! I was able to demo the 110 in 178 and 184 and didn't love the shorter one. 184 was amazing though. Love it!
@@jamesmecham3151 do you mind telling me how tall you are and what you weigh?

Enoying your series! BC Camox up soon? Cheers
Agree. Rossignol makes good skis. No second thoughts.
yeah these were some of my favorite out of the other Rossi's I tried.

Wildcat 108, M free 108
Pls review the black crows vertis! in my opinion super underrated!
So what is your 10/10 ski??😮
For Powder: Salomon QST 106 and Atomic Bent 110.
For all mountain: none yet, but the Atomic Maverick 88ti get's close.
