This week's adventure took me all the way to LAS VEGAS, where I got to try a number of amazing desserts. And of course, I had to recreate one! The epic Titanic at Carmines, Giant Fortune Cookies at TAO and the famous Flower Pot of Jardin. Which one was your favorite?
I was absolutely blown away by LAS VEGAS! Anyone from Las Vegas? Comment Below! And everyone else, I NEED TO KNOW! What desserts should I hit the road to try next? Comment below with City / Restaurant / Dessert and who knows? Maybe I'll be there next!!!! ❤❤❤
New Bern, NC, USA Famous Subs and Bakery. I hear they’re good.
Rhode Island!!
I'm from Houston but Austin, Texas has a HUGE DESSERT scene and nightlife it's always wild. They have food trucks and pop up restrauant as well as gourmet restrauants in downtown Austin. Super cool!
I have quite a few restaurants I’d like to visit myself, but I’ll leave you with these: Merones, Mac & Melts, Magpies, Sotto, Dough Box, Ok Noodle, Johnny Sanchez, and Meadowlark Dairy. Johnny Sanchez is gonna be pretty expensive though
This was the Bomb.com💣💯🙌🏼🥄
You’re the first youtuber that caught my heart years ago, you’re literally the only youtuber whose cake book I’ve ever bought. I was so sad when I didn’t see you upload anything for so long! Thanks for making a come back, please keep the great cakes coming 🍰
Other people traveling: I can’t wait to see the old buildings and museums and beaches and hiking trails.
Yolanda traveling: where the cake at?
Yes to all that, but I’m a foodie. So “Where is the food/cake?”
I literally love this comment lmao
I love how she labeled her invention ❤❤❤❤
Call it the Love Boat ❤️
The only non-famous boat name I know is the Phyllis Bowater. My grandpa came to America on that boat, stumbled into my grandma as he was getting off, and years later they named my mom after it. So yeah. Phyllis Bowater
I enjoy this format: Yo goes somewhere and then makes a cake or desert inspired by that plce. Like visiting a honey market and using 3 different kinds of honey in a cake, or this video. I'd like to see a cake/desert result of a visit to a local bakery, or a flower shop...
me too! Any suggestions for more places to go? : )
If I can make one more suggestion (I suppose, I can, it's engagement anyway): Does Yo (or someone from the crew) have a favorite walk through a park or the city, possibly including a regular stop at a cafe or ice cream truck? That might be an interesting inspiration for a desert - drawing both from things you see and things you eat or drink.
@@HowToCakeIt go to an amusement park and try different desserts and then remake one! Maybe other cities that are known for specific desserts (the birth place of xyz)
I never go to sleep until I finish watching any of Yo’s videos.
They’re just so awesome. 😁👍⭐️
You should call this dessert The Oceania. It was the sister ship of the Titanic that was built two years before, it had the same model but since different design choices, much like how you changed the flavour of the dessert
Hey Yo, I'm from Italy and I can confirm you that Viennetta is still a thing! And it's always extremely delicious! 😋😋😋
My sister wants us to vacation in Las Vegas this spring, so thanks for letting me know ahead of time which dessert places I need to visit! ;)
Amazing video this simply epic those desserts will certainly have your brain all wrapped up thinking about it. Also great idea making or recreating your own version of the dessert you can gain interesting ideas how to achieve it
Okay, I'm doing a mini version of it this holidays. You're the best, Yo!
Love it! Let us know how it goes! ❤️
Yes, Vienetta Icecream cake is still available. At least in Sweden. I ate it last week. 😋
Let us know where we should visit if ever in Sweden!
They still make Viennetta! And I still like it. In the Netherlands it gets eaten a lot with the holidays.
Tao playing Jessie Ware makes my heart smile.
I Love the 3 Iconic Las Vegas Desserts and i love it 💚💕
I live for the invention!!!!!
The desserts look really delicious 😋
the vienneta ice cream reference took me back!🤗🤗🤗
Glad you back!
Amazing cakes you make I love them👏👏👏😁😁👏
I’ve tried the giant 🥠 @ Tao NYC for one birthday. I totally loved it 😋 would love to try the flower pot cake 🤩
Vienetta is sold under the Good Humor brand. It's still sold here in Central Jersey.
My brother bought me a Viennetta for Christmas one year as I talked about wanting one for weeks ❤
They do still make the Viennvtta, bought one from Walmart. 😋
Those desserts are almost as delicious as Yolanda 😍
Mymum still buys herself vienetta ice cream log for a treat. We live in Australia and its available in most supermarkets
Omg I remember Viennetta it was the best😀 amazing desserts 🤤
After Eight is the perfect chocolate
I would name it the mount everest of snack foods. Who would not want to try to conquer that mountain?
I'm impressed...Jolanda tried to crowd-source a ship name and no-one came up with Boaty McBoat-Face 😂
Name your ship the Yolanda!!
It looks so tasty!
Viennetta is definitely still a thing here in Germany.
Bei uns auch 🇨🇭
12:14 "these are the people who jumped ship" i'm SCREAMING lmaoooo
Lol Las Vegas is a whole city Yo. You were on the strip which had all the hotels but you can stay if strip and see more of vegas too. Come back please and explore more
They do still make villetta, we get it in the UK and it comes in vanilla, mint or chocolate.
The desserts look really delicious 😋🤤 Yolanda ❤️
Where should I go next????
@@HowToCakeIt new jersey Carlos bakery 🥯
@@HowToCakeIt Portland Oregon!
How about Korea
I suggest the name S.S. Carpathia, so named after the ship that rescued the Titanic survivors. Reading its story always makes me cry, but I feel like it's fitting 😄
You should bake something with the brand Tiny Baking!!!
I wish you would have made the giant fortune 🥠cookie 😩🥺
Viennetta is available here in Australia, it’s still as good as it was years ago
I’m from Las Vegas!!!! Woooo! 🎉
I just went to TAO in Vegas and got that same dessert!!

A chocolate spray gun. Everyone has one of those hahahahhaha
You don't keep a chocolate spray gun in your purse 24/7, just in case?? 😂
Delicious in Las Vegas seven times but you got all the money
Looking 😋 yummy cakes lots of love 💕
Yolanda, I have a question for you. I think I've already commented this on one of your videos in the past, however I didn't get a response and I'm kind of dying to know -
It seems from my perspective that you eat a lot of desserts on a regular basis, as a pastry chef. If this is the case, how do you maintain a healthy lifestyle as well as a great figure?
Also, this is something I didn't think of last time but I will add - how do you straighten your hair this often and still have it pretty and healthy?
Hopefully I'm not saying anything hurtful or intrusive by mistake, I can be tactless sometimes 😅
I mean well. To be honest, I guess I'm just a bit jealous.
It looks like it’s giving side eye
I think the ship should be named Y.O. Cakey or S.S. Cakey.
What tips do u have for me im going to try to make my daughter her third birthday cake on 28th of this months i really need help

Thanks for the suggestion! Going to pass this along to the rest of the team! ☺️
i miss the original format and novelty cake, i appreciate more flavor forward cakes and less fondant though
The ship cake name… the yo-mobile. I’m sorry 😅
Hey number 2
S S Cake IT
Jardin is pronounced as "Hardin" (you pronounce the J as H) which in Latin and Filipino means Garden.
Hmmm....not your best.
I really wanna know what those fortunes said 🫢
