Great video! I've only just seen this although you uploaded it nearly a week ago. I also have the Staggerwing and find it fun to fly. Regarding the fuel tank issue, you may already know by now that the tank switches are below the copilot window. They are very confusing and almost impossible to use especially as no manual is provided! My solution to this is to use the Assistance menu to select 'Unlimited Fuel' when flying this aircraft. Hope this helps.
I love this plane (wish it had an autopilot but that's not realistic) but the fuel issue is a problem due of lack of a manual. As the commentor below states, it's located below the window on co-pilot's side. The problem is when you should switch tanks. There seems to be no indication when you are low and need to do it. I took a roughly 150 mile trip and my fuel ran out twice. I guess like Wirral Pilot states, switch to unlimited fuel.
Is there an option to hide those support struts from view similar to the yoke in others?... i know that is not a realistic representation, but those are annoying. Nice plane otherwise...
I just tested it. You use the digital readout and roughly every 11.2 gallons used, you need to switch fuel tanks which is hard to do and frustrating at times. The old fuel gauge above it has two red lines in it but the reading is always lower and it never moves. I doubt its working. Anyway, it might be easier to leave unlimited fuel on while flying this beautiful airplane.

This airplane could be more fun to fly without that crossing bar in the middle of the screen 😢

As far as I'm aware there is no such option
