This game had a massive impact on me. I never go more than a year without thinking back to it, hoping one day we'll get a new iteration of it.

Agreed 100%. Moreover, the cut-scenes and this intermission story in the game are gold :) So sad that they don't make games like Myth II anymore.

This was my first experience with true Dark Fantasy. Before this, I saw sword and sorcery/medieval times, as was depicted in JRPG's. With the Plucky Hero saving the damsel. This however gave me a helping of "There are no Heroes in War fore we all will die". Gave my 11 year old mind PTSD but I always came back for more.
Always loved the storyline of these games. it's written so well, the narration is awesome, and the music is on point. So many good memories. :-)

@@mjbartending Oh, that's awesome :) he don't sound like a ''typical'' bowman to me, i always thought he was a regular soldier with sword and shield.
@@WokenAsc I always felt the same but then I thought that in Myth II he is also there when the warriors are replaced by barbarians.
