Things to do in one day in Icy Strait Point, Hoonah Alaska

It was my first time visiting Icy Strait Point near Hoonah, Alaska. There are some interesting things to see right in the port area with hiking trails, whale watching excursions, and some bear viewing possibilities.
We saw whales right from the shore! We walked along some of the trails and went into the town of Hoonah. There were a few small shops and restaurants. The fish nuggets were delicious!
I enjoy the moss covered forest and views from shore.
