Throughout 6 DLCs that are scheduled for release between November 21, 2022 - March 2023, we will feature 12 leaders brand new to Civilization VI and 6 new takes on classic Civilization leaders.
The Leader Pass is available on Steam, Epic, Mac App Store, and iOS only. On Steam and Epic, The Leader Pass is included at no extra charge as part of Civilization VI Anthology, or can be purchased separately.

I can't attest to its accuracy, but his voice does sound pretty badass, it's quiet yet also foreboding.

Since the “great negotiators” had military bonuses and nothing for diplomatic victory, these great commanders must be the best ones for culture, I wonder
they have trade bonuses (persian and japanese leader) and suleiman persona has golden age bonus science and culture
there is some combat strenght buffs too but they are minor

+1/1/2 culture/sci/gold for internal traderoutes per district at deatination but -25% to international traders. + Few other flavour/inconsequential abilities.
Super excited for him. Finally internal traders to Magnus capital is viable!
At 10 pop with CH, government plaza, diplo quarter and IZ youll be getting 5 food/production, 4 culture/science and 8 gold
By the time communism rolls around it will be 10 food 8 production, 6culture/sci and 12 gold

I wonder why abilities and unique units or structures of new leaders of Leader Pass is not introduced in introduction of leaders like before.
There's a difference between leader abilities and civ abilities. Unique units count as civ abilities so do structures and districts, while bonuses are counted as leader and civ abilities, of course with exceptions. This pass just adds new leaders with different leader abilities than the previous ones. For example, Eleanor only changes court of love instead of chaning the abilities for France and England.
This is so great, I literally just got done doing a class this semester on Edo Japan, I'm hyped for this.
So based on the abilities of the negotiators, I'm guessing Tokugawa gives more diplomatic policy slots or something, right?
Would be nice if the leader pass was actually given to players who have all dlcs on epic

@@OhNoTheFace No it was a very common problem. People who bought DLCs separately on Epic didnt have access to the Leader Pass. Fortunately its been fixed today

It's not coming... I think civ developers have given up on the console version...

@@yourm00m91 Aspyr has a long history of taking their time and updating the games that they ported over to other platforms. Firaxis wants to bring it to the consoles, but does Aspyr want or even have the personnel to do it.

God I love the Japanese theme in this game!
I would like some leader exclusive achievments for these leaders and a patch to fix game performance in certain circumstances like passing my turn.

You used Blue and White palette for Tokugawa? Really? Blue and white colors fit Tokimune more, since it's his clan's colors - Hojo clan. You could've just used Maroon-White palette for Tokugawa, would fit more.
You can always change that.
@@user-qx8kf3st8t True, but default colors are what these civs intended to look like. And while White-Red palette for Japan was ok before, because it's Japan. But now, when Tokugawa's civ is represented by the colors of the Hojo clan, when representative of this clan already exist... this kinda shows they simply don't care about the design.
@@inspector_beyond I would not go to extremes. I admit, they screwed up with the color, but there are positive aspects in terms of design. Expressing your opinion is always good, but I would not speak for the whole design
@@user-qx8kf3st8t If they will not make white-Blue palettes for Ludwig of Bavaria, this is definitely will be a sign that they dont care about CIvs design and just reuse what's already there. Which is weird, considering that these colors are simple lines of code, especially when all Jersey System colors are already defined and they just have to place them for leaders.

Yes! Tokugawa is back. Excited for Yongle Emperor. I wish they gave us more of the unused Chinese emperors too like Han Wudi or Tang Taizong over less competent one (only placed because shes female) Wu Zetian.

It would be cool if when you founded your capital it was Edo and not Kyoto and Tokyo didn't come up in the name pool

They should have a Nobunaga leader. He was a very unique person. A Japanese anomaly.
Hideyoshi is more of an anomaly than Oda. Peasant to Shogun.
@@DoctorDeath147 In the bigger picture, I would go with Oda. His knowledge of European technology and systems, the Asian world preoccupied with fighting European influence and the Japanese proven history of technological adaptation could of led to major international success for Japan.

You can already see the list of oncoming leaders on the steam page. We will be getting Ramesses II as an alt leader and a persona for Cleo. None of the other leaders you said is mentioned though.

Tokugawa Ieyasu... *sighs.* Out of the three unifiers, why not Oda Nobunaga or Toyotomi Hideyoshi? They were much better than him. Besides, Oda Nobunaga was in Civ V.
I must say, a little disappointed with the coloration of the armor just because of how similar it is of Civ 5’s Oda Nobunaga. Maybe brown instead of black would have been better since that was a color of Tokugawa’s family and seen in a lot in depictions of him

Cool as that would be, ninja were used for reconnaissance and assassination, they certainly weren't frontline soldiers despite how much popular media has glorified them.
Though saying that, maybe they could work as fun replacement for either the scout or skirmisher?

Ninja are largely myth. They were just rural small town samurai who were later romanticized in famous works

I hope Germany will get Konrad Adenauer. The Axis countries' postwar leaders did some of the most important work in their countries' history rebuilding and reintegrating them into the world and so if the leaders are "great negotiators" I was hoping either Germany or Japan would get a leader appropriate to the title.
Yeah. His special ability is collaborating with former Nazis. Plus one industry and science on campus and industrial districts.
The list of all 18 (19 with Julius Caesar for linking a 2K account) is available on their official website. Germany is getting a new leader. Adenauer is not the one. Generally, Civ tends to stay away from very recent historical leaders because their place in history isn't yet clearly defined.

And you do also know that "former Nazi" is a massive net that catches plenty of inoffensive administrative people who joined the party to keep their job, right? Oskar Schindler was a "former Nazi"

I'm happy to pick this game up again if actual new civs are released, and not new leaders for existing civs. The game is still fun with the mods.
I guess multiplayer is alright. But solo, AI is just uneventful
