Nothing wrong with them being compared to Dragonforce, because in a nutshell it is very much Dragonforce like in speed, vocals, dual guitar, bass and drums. But the fact that this is an all female based band stands them out with this style for sure! Oh yeah, they supported Dragonforce in the UK back in 2019 before the Vid!
Miyako wrote this as a theme song for the band--it's working name was "Lovebites". Re. Dragonforce, the two bands are good friends and toured together. I think Herman and Sam are probably still the fastest guns in the west, but Lovebites' songs are better written and more varied.
I think the DragonForce comparison is a good one! But personally for me LOVEBITES songwriting and lyrics takes them to another level! 🙂 They are known for being a power metal band but they are very diverse in their playing with many different styles. Check out some of their more thrash metal tracks like "Break the Wall", "Thunder Vengeance" Live in 2020 or their MV "Winds of Transylvania" And for something totally different try their songs "Empty Daydream" or "Epilogue" both Live too. Influenced by 70s metal/hard rock/progressive; early 70 King Crimson, Black Sabbath, Zeppelin, Japanese traditional music and literature, with some sludge doom stuff thrown in. Interesting band, very different from anything you have listed.
