- I made a few changes since the reslease of the new Abandoned Mine Shelter to fit the shelter inside the cave. Here is a video of the cave and the new shelter. I hope you all enjoy it.

I started underground and floated each pot. Then merged everything else from above on the road. It's hard to build anything on the actual ground in the cave.

@@Count-Sorrow it's not a translation thing. I understand how sinking and floating works. I was just curious about the wording.
Do I gather you used a pressure plate to sink the plants bit by bit using junk that you placed on the road above? So the road above would have some random stuff around, but then the planters are sunk into the ground of the cave? Did you use rugs to do them in chunks? I'm just getting into merging stuff in camps, and was really amazed by what you managed with planters and wanted to practice. So I wanted to know what method you used. Sorry for the wall of text.

If you are on Ps4 I can show you. If you are not I can make a video showing some of the tricks. This camp was hard to make.
I used the ground to merge the entire place. No pressure plate merging cause at the time I did the plants and shelves and stuff I never knew of the pressure plate merge. Ground merging is a bit faster for dropping items but nowhere near as precise as pressure plates. The shelves shown in the video came with the location. The items on them took 18 hours. I remember lol.
My plants are done from underground, under the cave itself. Same as the lighting.
This camp was still a work in progress.

This one inspired my Halloween shelter build. I was stuck and I saw this one and knew I needed the brambles and once I got those I was good to go.
I love when I come across fallout 76 camp videos that give me inspiration on my next build. Imagine the wood it took on this one. I have one sort of similar but with a with burning at the stake scenario with trees and bramble everywhere

All I can say is wow. I just started this game and it is a lot to learn but I’m slowly starting to get the hang of it. Compared to my little rinky dink outdoor setup with a couple turrets. Never felt more like a hobo than after seeing this

The hanging mannequins was more a fluke really. I had a bone chimes hanging behind a mannequin and the way I was standing made it look like it was hanging. I was inspired..

Keeping your comment in mind about those chimes, your correct they was too much. I have gone and removed nearly all them. I rather the silence lol

Amazing! I've just started a build here and was wondering, how did you get all that stuff down and it not clip to the road above?! Also can't figure out how to sink plants into the ground D:
I merged it all from the road down into the cave. Took a long time to line everything up.
Nothing in there is actually on the floors. Everything seems to pop up into the road when I place something in the cave.
What system?
@@Count-Sorrow oh wow!! That would take a long time! I’ve found certain items that will always place properly but some just shoot up and are stuck in the road lol and I can’t delete them. I found a way using a rug and pressure plate to sink the plants down but then I have to hide the rug 😂 I’m on PC

Where did you get those plants from
The green fern like ones are normal potted plants that can be learned by obtaining the plans for it. I believe all the rest are atoms purchases

The entire cave is all merged. Normal build in the shelter, just trees, bramble and lights.

Merging, or merged items is when u take 2 or more objects and 'merge' them together. Example would be flower pots on shelves.
There are videos on yt to teach how to merge.
I have 4 videos on yt showing the progression of my camp over the past 9 months. I cant do a video on how to make this.
Look up how to merge items and the sky is the limit from there.

I tryed building in other locations from the same cave but none had room like this area
@@Count-SorrowI kept my previous camp spot. I checked it out and its an amazingly long cave. I tried to build in it but everything just disappeared into the roof. Dont know what you did to make it work.
@@sarge7993 I know what u mean lol. I have a few things lost inside the road. I have a bunch of random stuff up on the road as anchors. I merged everything in here. Nothing actually is sitting on the floors or shelves.
