- In this chapter of our game asset creation series we come to the final stage of the asset creation, before we can drop it into a gaming engine.
This time it’s texturing. And as state of the art game creation pipeline suggests we’ll be using a method called projection texturing, for which we’ll utilise a great application called Substance Painter.
This video is both about basic texturing principles as well as about the usual workflow of Substance Painter. We’ll take a look at an alternative method of generating a normal map, learn to manage our layers and layer masks, and check out some parametric options that Substance Painter has to offer.

Need help pls,. I have issues with rendering cant see my normal maps on Iray.
When I bake I'm geting ugly seams and distortions and my mesh looks ugly. Why?
Because you didn't smooth edges in your mesh you dumb fuck
