Contrary to the belief of most people, Nickelback never lost thier sound nor did they lose the ability to bust out a good rock/heavy track they did however lose thier ability to properly market thier music by withholding thier better tracks in favour for the tracks that were more popular for the music of the era.

Nickelback at their heaviest is so damn good. That Feed The Machine album was a 10/10. Heavy and melodic.
The fact they are one of the few bands left, and the fact they have some of the clearest lyrics without sacrificing great sound.
