I think I'll have to watch this in portions - 1 hour down already. Good camera setup and overall a good insight into the job. I just had a positive interview the other day for a trainee / bus operator position with Torrens Transit.
When I last visited the Frenchs Forest area in 2019, I remember seeing a 270 or 271 with the line "First set down Smith St E. Rose" or something like that on the destination board. Has it since changed to just be express until Smith St? I know it used to be quite common to use set down/pickup restrictions, but gradually express has become more common.
Hi, a most enjoyable loooong shift. Did you elect to do the long shift or were you covering for other drivers? The girl that asked for a mask or?? Also there guys who got on and got off did they refuse to wear masks? Or wrong bus? Was the a/c playing up? No inspectors! Well done. I worked in the city 4 times and lived in the Ryde Area for 30 years. I am subscribed.
All buses are fitted with GPS, but most don't show you the route. The driver is expected to memorise the route. There's also two ways of confirming that you're on the right route. There are yellow signs on power poles just before turns (e.g. 490 ->) and also the driver's ticketing computer lights up when approaching a stop.
Stop playing with it and move sorry to say but if they are rubber gloves they are not possible to drive in they could slip or break on the wheel if you have to stop for a bus or lorry other way quickly😮😅
Always remember you are not an Authority. So best to keep your mouth shut and not order people to wear a face mask. Also, before setting off, ensure your destination and BDC is up before driving. Setting them up as you drive is not allowed as you take your attention away from driving. You are a professional bus driver and this was in your training.
This is true when there's a fight breaking out but NSW has the highest COVID-19 numbers in Australia so I don't blame him (stop being a armchair bus driver and read the news!) And secondly I've seen Translink Ulsterbus and Goldlines change to out of service or their next route on the move cuz the timetable can be tight on stand! Please don't moan at someone who also has experience too
You have no idea how much people don't care when it comes to safety and health of themselves and others so I'm glad he speaks up and asks them to mask up or don't travel. Yara I'd wouldn't trust you if you where driving
6:20; Drove right through that Stop sign. Yes, our daily shifts are between eight to twelve hours long here in The Lucky County. Six days a week.

Excellent driving skills!! Keep up the good work, and thank you!! ;)
The bus in the thumbnail has an ad for my school on the back of it.

Can you have the radio on to relax yourself and the passengers?
Thank you for your work! 🙏
Nice driving, best I've seen in a while.
How are you driving for 12 HOURS??? How is that allowed? How many days a week do you work?
Why two meal breaks and why so long between 2nd meal break and finishing? Does that meet the heavy vehicle driving requirements?
Hey there! Some questions:
What camera equipment did you use?
What power source did you use to keep it running for the entire day?
I wish I had gotten into bus driving when I was younger. Beats a factory job, maybe...?
why is it delay for 30 day now for
Nice work! I liked the wave 👋 at the end.
Thanks, this was a long shift and pushing fatigue rules! Feel free to subscribe and support independent creators.
A properly positioned desto control panel unlike the buses I drive. How come you don't acknowledge another fellow bus driver when you pass each other?
Great content! Keep it up!
Well done bro
1:14:57 Shift 177 is this your schedule or arrival times?
Greetings from Germany (from the Eifel).

hi I'm a bus driver from Europe, before converting my license I should have had an Australian license for at least two years to work there?
1 year
Is 12 hours with only 2 half hour breaks normal? It seems like a lot of driving in a heavy vehicle, you must have been exhausted at the end
Same job same pay!!!

What's your depot?
Is there a route GPS on the bus that tells or shows you the route?
No
The route is memorised by the driver

why tell a lie, you are the person who puts these videos all over Facebook.

As a driver you must look after the safety of your passengers, this includes making sure they follow all safety guidelines no?

@Vostok Cosomonaut a bus driver has no authority to demand someone to wear a mask. I recommend you get know the legislation regarding this.
@Yararthoo YOU DONT KNOW HOW IT WORKS, THE NSW GOVERNMENT ORDERS THEM TO TELL THEM TO PUT A MASK ON
THIS DRIVER IS TOO MUCH DANCING. CHITT.
What a miserable existence, take the mask off.
No how about you grow up?
